General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) may have no choice but to get a grip and move on. GH fans know Sasha’s been trying to get over her heartache, but that’s proving awfully difficult. Thanks to the fake affair Sasha and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) cooked up, Sasha lost Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and has been struggling ever since.
This is the outcome Chase and Sasha wanted, but it turned out to be a lot harder than either of them expected – especially Sasha. General Hospital viewers know Sasha’s resorted to drugs as she works to keep her act together.
Unfortunately, Sasha could easily battle a drug addiction soon enough. This could even lead to an overdose, so there may be some terrifying moments.
Of course, an overdose presents the possibility of a hero – someone who’ll step up to help Sasha and get her to GH immediately. The man who slides in this hero spot could become Sasha’s new love interest.
Chase is an option here, but General Hospital has teased a potential Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) pairing, too.
If Chase and Brook Lynn are going to be an item and Michael sticks with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), where does that leave Sasha? Is there someone else on canvas that Sasha might be a steamy match with?
Since Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) is focused on TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) for now, maybe Sasha could be paired up with Brando Corbin (Max Gail).
Brando already saved Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) life, but what if Sasha’s next? Since Brando’s so connected to the Corinthos clan, this would be smart for drama’s sake.
Let’s say Michael ultimately realizes Sasha didn’t really cheat. Carly might come clean about the sacrifice Sasha made for Michae, Willow and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Michael’s stuck in this Willow marriage for a while, so he might have to watch Sasha move on with Brando. It could even lead to some conflict with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who expressed concern about Michael not being in love with his wife.
Sonny might warn Brando to back off Sasha once the truth about the “betrayal” comes out. Michael may still be in love with Sasha, so Sonny could try to make things a bit easier for his son.
However, Brando might choose to follow his heart anyway and ignite Michael’s jealousy in the process. That sounds like it’d be an interesting new direction for this GH storyline.
