General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that one ABC soap star recently divulged some news about her health. On Instagram, Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford) informed fans of her COVID-19 diagnosis and offered a lengthy message about her experience. Let’s look at what Henry revealed in her latest post.
“Kris and I have been recovering from Covid-19 since a few days after Thanksgiving,” Henry said about herself and her husband, Kris Bowers. “Although some symptoms linger, were both so grateful that it seems as though, unlike for over a million others, we will make a full and healthy recovery.”
Henry added that she’s only been outside to walk her dog, so she’s had a lot of time to reflect. It’s brought some great reminders that have allowed Henry to stay positive during her latest health battle.
“I was reminded of the strength of my body and it’s ability to heal,” Henry said. “I’ve been reminded what a sound choice it was to marry someone that is kind and thoughtful. I recommend picking a partner that is your best friend. On my worst days @krisbowersmusic reminded me of how beautiful he thought I was, how strong. Even through the mess I physically felt I was.”
Although Henry dealt with fevers and body aches, she found comfort in her husband’s love as well as the love of her dog. Henry was also “blown away” by everyone who reached out, including family, friends, coworkers and fans. “I will keep that love for a lonely day, one in which I’ve managed to convince myself otherwise,” added.
Henry went on to talk about the healing process and found plenty of things to be grateful about despite her ordeal. The General Hospital actress also gave a shout-out to front-line workers who are working hard to make sure people facing the same diagnosis recover.
As Henry wrapped up her post, she urged everyone to wear a mask and take precautions. “We get through this by being selfless, kind and vigilant. Love y’all,” Henry said.
