General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Briana Lane) night took a terrible turn thanks to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). Nelle slit Brook Lynn’s throat with fabric shears and left her bloody, unconscious body backstage. Now that Brook Lynn’s been discovered, she’s being rushed to GH for emergency care.
This is obviously a serious situation, so General Hospital fans are wondering about the outcome for Brook Lynn. Fortunately, Brook Lynn isn’t going to die, so we can put your mind at ease on that. However, Brook Lynn undoubtedly has a long road to recovery ahead of her – perhaps in more ways than one.
For starters, Brook Lynn should wake up to truly crushing news. She’ll probably have to throw in the towel as a singer. Since that’s pretty much all Brook Lynn’s talked about from the moment she hit town again, this is a big deal.
Who is Brook Lynn if she doesn’t sing? That’s something Brook Lynn will likely have to figure out due to vocal cord damage.
Of course, there’s also the matter of Brook Lynn’s tense relationship with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) admitted to Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell) that he didn’t view Brook Lynn’s move as some unforgivable thing.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) has certainly been sticking up for Brook Lynn, too. It’s Ned who’s been digging his heels in and fuming.
Naturally, everything changed for Ned after he realized his daughter had been attacked. Ned’s clearly quite concerned and will remain on edge as Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) offers updates.
ll that matters now is Brook Lynn and her recovery. Ned’s surely regretting every hurtful word along with the fact that he threw Brook Lynn out of the house.
Too bad patching things up with Brook Lynn may not be so easy! On September 1, Ned’s efforts will get shot down. It sounds like Brook Lynn will urge Ned to save his pity party. Brook Lynn may not want to make peace if it’s only motivated by sympathy.
Keep in mind that Brook Lynn will probably be hurting and bitter over the loss of her BLQ singing career. Brook Lynn may keep her walls up and leave Ned discouraged about their fractured relationship. Fortunately, there’s still plenty of time for Brook Lynn to come around and make amends with Daddy.
