General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be appalled when she hears Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) latest lie. After Nelle gets thrown in lockup, Carly will naturally think that’s a good thing. She predicted Nelle would screw up again and land back at Pentonville, so she’ll believe Nelle’s well on her way.
However, Nelle will try to fib herself out of trouble be putting all the blame on Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). After Nelle claims Brad stole her baby while she was out cold, Carly’s sure to be furious.
This is obviously the first anyone’s hearing about Nelle losing consciousness – a fact that Carly, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and others are sure to bring up.
Even so, General Hospital spoilers, updates and news say Nelle will keep up the victim act and stand by her sob story. She’ll infuriate the Corinthos clan as a whole, but Carly will be especially riled. There’ll naturally be concerns that Nelle could actually get off the hook with this wild, bogus story.
GH fans can expect Carly to deliver a fierce warning during the week of February 24-28. Will Nelle be on the receiving end? That seems likely since Nelle will be clinging to her stolen baby tale and refusing to accept any responsibility in the swap.
Nelle will argue that she wasn’t behind any “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) deception and deserves her freedom. Carly may warn Nelle that she has no intention of letting her anywhere near “Wiley.” Of course, she should know by now that she doesn’t scare Nelle in the slightest.
Nelle thinks she’s perfectly capable of handling Carly and her band of Corinthos misfits. She’s always going total confidence in her grand plans, so that’ll be the case with this one as well.
Carly will find herself distressed later in the week, so Nelle could easily be cleared or at least get out on bail. She can probably count on Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) and all that money she just scored for the ELQ shares to fight for custody. Nelle will prove she’s one determined and manipulative mom, which may be part of why Carly’s so concerned!
