General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will continue to battle conflict. In an upcoming episode, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) – the presumed dead son of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) – shows up alive and saves Carly’s life in a shootout.
Naturally, that’ll score Brando some points with Carly, but perhaps not enough with Sonny. General Hospital spoilers say Sonny’s bound to be suspicious of Brando and his motives. It isn’t a coincidence that Brando showed up when he did, so Sonny will want some answers.
Carly will want answers as well, but she may cut Brando some slack since he saved her. She might think Sonny’s being a little hard on Brando all things considered.
Of course, this comes on the heels of Sonny and Carly’s other feuds. They’ve sparred over what’s best for Mike Corbin as well as the Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) secret and Carly’s loyalty to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).
“CarSon’s” ongoing friction could be important for a surprising reason, but more on that in a minute. General Hospital spoilers say Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) scheme is about to heat up.
The closer Nelle gets to what she wants, the closer Carly may get to the truth. GH fans can expect Carly to play a huge role in the next phase of Nelle’s storyline.
So let’s think about these puzzle pieces and how they might fit together. We’ve got Nelle and Carly, who have been fierce rivals for quite some time. Carly’s going to affect Nelle’s story in a big way. Since Nelle’s sitting on a whopper of a secret, it’s not surprising that GH buzz says that Carly might learn that secret.
If that happens, you can bet Nelle won’t just stand by and let Carly expose it. This is the perfect time to rev up that rivalry even more and let Nelle show how insane she is.
Will Carly figure out “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) is actually Jonah Corinthos? Could Nelle kidnap Carly and hold her captive somewhere as a result?
Nelle managed to get Carly locked up at Ferncliff at one point, but she may have to take matters into her own hands soon. Carly could find herself stashed and cut off from contacting her family.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Sonny’s tension will come at the worst possible time. Maybe Nelle could use the conflict to her advantage and act like Carly took a getaway to clear her head.
That’d buy Nelle some time to plot Carly’s murder or whatever else she had in store for her enemy. It makes sense for someone crucial to learn the “Wiley” secret, but it also makes sense for that person to not be able to reveal it right away. GH may want to stretch this story a bit longer, but they need to raise the stakes.
Plus, wouldn’t it be awfully fun to watch Nelle needle Carly while she’s tied up somewhere? That’d certainly be entertaining for fans of Nelle’s troublemaking.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Carly will indeed land in the middle of Nelle’s drama – and that’s a very dangerous place to be!
