General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) made a dangerous decision when she chose to take the drugs the production assistant offered. Sasha initially rejected the offer, and it’s easy to see she should’ve gone with her instincts! Now that Sasha’s dipped her toe into the drug world, she could get hooked and add to her problems.
During the week of May 18-22, Sasha will exhibit some reckless behavior. Taking more drugs would be reckless, especially if Sasha throws some booze in the mix. There have certainly been some hints about Sasha hitting the bottle, too. The point is Sasha’s on a collision course with disaster, so who will be there for her in the aftermath?
A recent Soap Opera Digest blind item revealed that one soap was planning to kill a character off. It’s wise to keep Sasha in mind as a candidate under the circumstances. However, there’s an opportunity for a lot of conflicted hearts if GH keeps Sasha around. There’s also a chance for new love to bloom.
General Hospital keeps teasing fans with a potential Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) pairing, but they don’t seem ready to pull the trigger on that yet.
GH writers may just be laying the groundwork for something to happen down the road – perhaps after Chase’s next romance. We can’t ignore the fact that this experience has brought Sasha and Chase closer.
Chase and Sasha are in exactly the same boat right now. They both made sacrifices for the people they love – and the people they love both think Chase and Sasha betrayed them. No one understands what Sasha’s going through quite like Chase does.
Not only did Sasha and Chase commit to this fake affair plot together, they’ve had plenty of bonding moments since then. Chase and Sasha’s scene on the pier was particularly poignant. Later, Chase showed up before the Deception photoshoot and gave Sasha a sweet pep talk. GH is keeping the possibility of this pairing alive.
Sasha and Chase are both gorgeous humans with good hearts, so why wouldn’t they fall for each other? Especially since they think Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) are going to fall hard!
General Hospital may be setting Chase up to be Sasha’s hero – perhaps after an overdose. Love could easily bloom if Chase comes to Sasha’s rescue and gets her to GH in the nick of time.
Between commiserating and this OD situation, that might be enough to start a new romance. Chase could save Sasha and get saved right back through his growing feelings for her.
