General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is most likely keeping a major secret from both Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). After Curtis realized Portia was Trina’s mother, the wheels immediately started turning. Curtis did the math and knew it was possible that he was Trina’s biological father.
However, Portia insisted that wasn’t the case and quickly eased Curtis’ mind. Curtis was glad to confirm Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) is Trina’s dad, but how can Curtis really know for sure? Portia may be lying to protect all parties involved here.
If Portia has been deceiving Trina about her father since she was born, that’s certainly a secret that Portia’s invested in keeping. GH fans saw how upset Trina got over Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) ratting out her old team members. Trina was crushed to know Taggert’s legacy was tarnished.
It’s clear that Trina adored her dad and put him up on a pedestal, so what’ll happen if Trina learns Taggert isn’t her father at all? General Hospital viewers could surely expect the outburst of the century. It’s safe to say Trina will have a massive meltdown – far worse than any of the ones that came before it!
Trina may be furious with Portia over the secret and just as furious that Taggert probably went along with it. Based on the way Taggert pushed Curtis to look after Trina, he seemed to know that Curtis was her true dad.
Trina’s bound to battle trust issues if she faces this paternity bombshell. Although Trina hates Curtis right now, maybe this secret’s exposure could help them find some common ground.
After all, Curtis was lied to as well – at least if Portia really is hiding the truth about Trina’s paternity. Curtis may blast Portia for robbing him of raising Trina and wonder why she would do something like this. Now Trina’s practically a grown woman, so Curtis missed her entire childhood and a good chunk of her teen years.
Perhaps Trina and Curtis can find a way to bond over mutual outrage. Portia could definitely face serious backlash for keeping the father-daughter shocker under wraps, so we’ll see how things play out down the road. As other GH news rolls in, we’ll keep bringing you updates.
