General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) may uncover a massive, infuriating secret. GH fans know someone reached out to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) over the phone, but Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) heard only silence when he answered it.
Later, Jordan got a message and dashed away from the Nurses Ball telethon to meet someone on down by the docks.
Of course, GH is just following up on their earlier scene where Jordan spoke with someone on a burner phone. During that call, Jordan got the green light on throwing the rest of the team under the bus. Jordan needed his person’s approval first, so all the evidence suggests this has to be Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews).
Taggert’s still in hiding to the rest of Port Charles, but he’s taking a big risk by coming back to PC at all! Even meeting Jordan on the pier alone could be dangerous.
Cyrus seems like the kind of guy who has eyes and ears everywhere, so there’s definitely a reason to be concerned here. Taggert apparently faked his death, so the last thing anyone wants is for him to die for real!
Nevertheless, Taggert’s life may be at stake along with those closest to him. What happens if Cyrus realizes Taggert duped him? Jordan’s obviously keeping Taggert’s survival – and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could easily be in on this, too. Sonny acted a bit odd around the time of Taggert’s “death,” so he may have helped put it in motion.
If Cyrus realizes this has all been one giant trick, you can bet he’ll unleash his wrath. Cyrus likes to feel like the smartest person in the room, but he certainly won’t feel that way if he learns Taggert, Jordan, Sonny and anyone else involved deceived him.
There’s a good chance Cyrus will retaliate if this Taggert news gets back to him – and it certainly could.
During the week of August 24-28, General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will blame himself after something goes wrong. Will Curtis worry that Jordan’s still meeting with Cyrus?
Could this lead to Curtis blowing Taggert’s cover? Maybe Curtis will toss a few more threats around and tip Cyrus off to trouble. Curtis might rant at Cyrus for harassing Jordan and remind his enemy of what’s at stake on Wilson Avenue.
Cyrus might realize that Jordan’s been meeting someone else behind his back and resolve to find out who it is. If that leads Cyrus to the revelation that Taggert’s alive, he may retaliate! Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) could easily get caught up in the dangerous drama.
