General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) family may soon be under attack once again. GH fans know Sonny and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) called a truce, but they’re deceiving each other. Sonny’s still planning on taking Cyrus out the first chance he gets. Meanwhile, Cyrus has mentioned wanting to go after Sonny’s right-hand man, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Of course, Jason has some serious skills and won’t be an easy person to bring down. Cyrus may have to shift his strategy eventually – and there may be a good reason to rev up this war again. Villains tend to have eyes and ears everywhere, so what if Sonny decides the time’s right for a deadly move and Cyrus finds out?
In that case, it’s easy to imagine Cyrus planning a move of his own – one to retaliate and show Sonny who’s boss. It seems like Cyrus enjoys playing games and making his enemies truly suffer. Cyrus has proven he’s not afraid to go after Sonny’s loved ones, so which family member might Cyrus target next?
There’d be some great options for Cyrus to consider. For starters, there’s Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his new wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) could even be at risk as this war intensifies.
We’ve also got Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), who’s criticized Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) for being danger junkies who can’t stand it without drama. Kristina might change her tune if she lands in danger again and has to be saved by “JaSam.”
Next, there’s Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Cameron Webber (William Lipton) had a traumatic ordeal that brought him closer to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Could a traumatic ordeal for Cam and Joss level the playing field? That might be just the sort of thing to push Cameron back in Josslyn’s direction.
Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) could be in danger as well, especially now that Cyrus has met Ava Jerome (Maura West). It’d be easy to pull Ava into this plot if Avery were to get kidnapped.
However, GH will probably focus on the adults since small children presumably won’t be allowed on set for a while. Once General Hospital resumes production, safety will be the priority.
Even so, Carly and Sonny’s adult children could be targeted right along with Jason. Even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could get caught in the crossfire if he returns as expected. Cyrus’ previous attacks on Sonny and his family weren’t successful, but that’s just one more reason for him to eventually try again!
