General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will find himself in a vulnerable position. GH fans know Sonny’s finding it difficult to let go of his father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail). Sadly, it’s something Sonny will have to do despite how hard it is. Sonny can’t stop Mike from fading, so he’ll have to accept that it’s time for Mike to die.
Naturally, that’ll launch a grief arc for Sonny and give Cyrus an opportunity to pounce. Cyrus may view this as a weak spot that he needs to take advantage of. Of course, fair is fair!
If Sonny’s going to have a weak spot, maybe GH writers should give Cyrus one, too. They could do that by giving Cyrus a family member on canvas that no one knows about just yet.
Some General Hospital fans have suggested that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) should be revealed as Cyrus’ biological daughter. It might be a good way to go since Sasha’s apparently about to get hooked on drugs.
Those drugs could easily trace back to Cyrus. It’d be soapy for Cyrus to lead to his own bio daughter’s overdose.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is another character who could be connected to Cyrus. Brando clearly has some big secrets, so one of them could involve Cyrus being his biological father.
It’d be an great twist in this Cyrus and Sonny storyline, especially since Brando could be poised for a pairing with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos). There’d be a lot of drama and connections to play around with.
Of course, General Hospital could also bring on someone else to be connected to Cyrus. Whether that person is Cyrus’ long-lost child or perhaps a former flame, there’d be some intriguing ways to go with that as well.
Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) would make a great ex-business partner and maybe even ex-girlfriend. It’s doubtful Cassandra’s gone for good, so she could shake up Cyrus’ world.
Regardless, Sonny could use a strategy to turn the tables in light of his own vulnerability. If Cyrus is going to use Sonny’s Mike grief against him, Sonny deserves a chance to play just as dirty. We’ll provide updates as other GH news rolls in.
