General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will decide to focus on his family – if only for a night! GH fans know Jason’s been busy with all the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) drama, so that hasn’t left as much family time as he would like.
Jason squeezes in moments with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and the kids whenever he can, but Cyrus has to be the priority right now.
Of course, Jason knows Cyrus is a powerful baddie who’s capable of terrible things. Whatever Cyrus does could affect the “JaSam” fam and all of Port Charles, so Jason’s main goal is protection. The easiest way to make sure everyone stays safe is to take Cyrus down, but that’s been a slow process so far.
Fortunately, there’s some extra family time coming up for Jason soon. On November 19, General Hospital spoilers state that Sam will ask Jason for assistance. It looks like it’ll lead to Jason spending the whole night with Sam, Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri).
The Cyrus war is far from over, but this may be Jason’s effort to find a better balance between work and family. Jason won’t want Sam and the kids to feel neglected, so this family night should help.
At some point during the evening, Jason will give Danny his undivided attention. There’ll be some quality father-son moments – perhaps after Scout goes to bed.
This sounds sweet and wonderful for “JaSam” fans, but there could be a troubling reason for all the bonding between Danny and his dad. Let’s consider what we know about Cyrus as we try to predict some of his next moves.
For starters, Cyrus has proven that he goes after the children of his enemies. He knows it’s a quick way to get what he wants. Jason is also Sonny’s right-hand man, so Cyrus wants to take Jason out to make it easier to get to Sonny.
It’s easy to imagine another scenario like when Cyrus kidnapped Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to lure Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) to his “death.” Will Cyrus kidnap Danny as part of a deadly trap for Jason?
It’s worth considering the idea since we’ve got all this Danny and Jason bonding coming up. GH writers may be offering the calm before the kidnapping storm.
That’s especially true since Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) recently bashed Sam for being with a hitman. Alexis went on and on about the danger Jason’s profession poses to the kids, so there are some ominous signs to mull over. Sam and Jason may face total terror if Danny gets snatched!
