General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will eventually recover enough to leave his WSB facility in Switzerland, but he’ll still be pretty messed up.
It’s clear that Dante’s dealing with some deep-seated feelings, so he may continue to feel toxic. Although Dante will no longer be a physical threat, he might think he’s only going to bring his loved ones down.
Dante will return to Port Charles, but he may not have high hopes for reclaiming his life. That’s especially true since Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) already moved on with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). Any glimmer of hope might be snuffed out by the sight of Dustin and Lulu together.
Dante may get updates on how much Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) likes Dustin as well. Although it’ll be painful for Dante to feel replaced, he might believe it’s for the best on some level. Dante sacrificed his family to keep them safe, so he won’t have any regrets about that part. Nevertheless, Dante will certainly long for what might’ve been.
We can’t help but notice some similarities between Dante’s storyline and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) storyline. Like Dante, Sasha’s story was also one of sacrifice. She put Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) safety and happiness above her own.
Sasha felt like pushing Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) to be a family with Wiley would make them happy, too. Now Sasha’s stuck on the outside looking in – knowing this is how it has to be but wishing it could’ve been different.
That sounds an awful lot like Dante’s upcoming situation, doesn’t it? We’ve also got Sasha’s drug battle to consider, which General Hospital spoilers suggest will spiral out of control. That’s something Dante would relate to since he’ll be coming out of this treatment facility, where he also felt out of control for so long.
Dante could easily cross paths with Sasha, befriend her and become the hero she needs. Maybe Dante could come to Sasha’s rescue and convince her to get help. There’s certainly the potential for GH to bring these two characters together based on their heartbreaking similar circumstances.
