General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will have to put a little more work in their relationship. To say it needs saving at this point would be a bit of a stretch, but some concerns are emerging. For starters, GH threw in some financial woes for “Friz” – and those can certainly take a toll on a relationship.
We’ve also got Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Cassadine (Maura West) scheming to put that cheating clause into effect. If Nikolas cheats with Liz or Franco cheats with Ava, it changes the game when it comes to the Cassadine fortune.
However, it seems silly for stress over Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) college tuition and an insensitive remark about Liz’s art to lead to cheating. It would be incredibly juvenile and terrible writing if that’s all it took to push madly in love Liz or Franco into someone else’s bed.
They were a perfectly happy couple not too long ago, so GH will have to create more obstacles if a betrayal’s going to happen.
Of course, there were some summer sweeps General Hospital spoilers that didn’t air before new episodes ran out. GH preview info pointed to Liz and Franco possibly figuring out what Nikolas and Ava were up to, which makes sense considering there seem to be real feelings developing in “Nava’s” marriage. That could mean this is all passing angst and “Friz” will be solid in the end.
General Hospital will have to keep delivering storylines for Franco and Liz if they’re going to keep them together. They’ll need to give “Friz” another challenge to tackle. One easy way to do that is by making Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) pregnant. GH viewers will recall that Kim slept with Franco while he had Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories.
Shortly before Kim left, General Hospital offered a couple clues about Kim potentially having a bun in the oven. Kim turned down the wine Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) offered and dropped a stuffed animal, so those could be construed as pregnancy hints.
The door has definitely been left open for Kim to either come back with a baby or leave one behind for “Friz” after dying in childbirth.
Does a baby surprise loom for Franco and Liz? Will they come out stronger on the other side of this Nikolas and Ava mess only to get hit with more drama?
General Hospital spoilers insisted Franco’s time as Drew would have lasting effects, so Kim’s pregnancy would fit with what we know so far. Franco’s actions could come back to haunt him!
