General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, August 21, tease that there’ll be more Nurses Ball bombshells along with a special treat according to Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). There should be some other fun performances, but Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) obviously won’t be one of them!
After Brook Lynn overheard Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) conspiring to kidnap Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) on the phone, she delivered some fierce threats and forced Nelle to think fast.
Nelle grabbed the nearby scissors – or fabric shears as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) corrected Lucy earlier – and seemingly sliced Brook Lynn across the throat.
On Friday, Nelle will clean those fabric shears and suggest that Brook Lynn should’ve been nicer to her. General Hospital spoilers say Nelle will move forward with her plan and leave bloody Brook Lynn on the floor.
Meanwhile, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will get into another argument with Ned Quartemaine (Wally Kurth). It seemed like the tension was starting to lift during their act together, but they’ll be right back where they started on Friday.
Olivia will contend that Ned’s scaring her. Perhaps Olivia will suggest it’s not like Ned to hold a grudge against Brook Lynn like this.
Ned feels like Brook Lynn betrayed the family when she betrayed the company, but Olivia feels like Ned’s putting ELQ above all else. She might feel contend that there’s no need to act like Brook Lynn’s dead to him or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, Ned and Olivia should be horrified once they realize Brook Lynn’s been injured.
Brook Lynn clearly won’t come out on stage after her name’s called so that could be the first sign of trouble. Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll make Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) an offer she can’t refuse.
Maybe Michael will urge Willow to head on home to check on Wiley while he wraps things up at the telethon.
GH spoilers point to a shocking discovery for Michael on Friday, so maybe that’ll be injured Brook Lynn. Michael might go looking for Brook Lynn after she doesn’t go out on stage for her BLQ performance.
As for Julian Jerome (William deVry), he just reluctantly chloroformed Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). Can we just take a moment to ask what the heck Julian’s doing?! It’s crazy for Julian to be going along with this plan, but he may not be going along with it for much longer.
Regardless, Julian will mutter an apology to unconscious Monica before he gets ready to snatch Wiley. Julian’s got a life-altering decision ahead of him, so he may have a change of heart when it comes to this kidnapping plot.
Over with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), he’ll show off his softer side. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will find a way to warm to Brando despite her previous issues with him.
Elsewhere, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will talk to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about all the attention Nik’s been showering on Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Franco will suggest that Nikolas might want to shower some of that on his wife, Ava Cassadine (Maura West), instead.
In the ladies’ room, Ava will continue her chat with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as Liz eavesdrops in a stall. Liz just overheard that if Nikolas sleeps with another woman, the infidelity clause will be triggered that gives her 90 percent of the Cassadine fortune.
Elizabeth will keep listening as Nina points out a flaw in Ava’s plan. Nina may suggest that Ava’s a woman with certain needs that need to be met. She may worry about Nikolas pushing Franco into Ava’s bed, so Ava may admit Nikolas is trying! However, Ava feels confident that if anyone’s going to crack, it’ll be Nikolas.
Liz will be taking all this in and realizing she’s been played right along with Franco. It won’t be long until Elizabeth updates Franco, so they might form a plan for payback.
Over with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), they’ll enjoy the calm before the storm. Corinthos family chaos is on the way, so they’d better savor the peace while it lasts.
