General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, August 28 Recap - Jax Urges Carly To Lie About Nelle - Dante Agrees To Treatment, Wants To Go Home

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, August 28, reveal that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was horrified after Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) fell after hanging off the side of the cliff.

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) ran up and Carly frantically told him that she tried to help Nelle but that Nelle fell, presumably to her death. Jax said that they needed to decide what to do next, because the police might think that Carly pushed Nelle over the cliff.

Carly was horrified at the suggestion that she should lie to the cops, but Jax insisted that the DA might try to put Carly away to get at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Jax urged Carly to say that after her struggle with Nelle in the clearing, Nelle ran off and that’s all that happened. Carly argued, but Jax said that Carly needed to save herself.

At the cabin, Sonny arrived and spoke with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) briefly. Valerie Spencer (Paulina Bugembe) walked in and got Michael’s statement, then she went outside to call Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) on her satellite phone, since the cell phone reception in the woods was spotty.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) arrived to offer support to Willow, who was alone. Willow said that Michael was out looking for Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), and then Valerie called and told Willow that Wiley was safe. Willow disconnected and was greatly relieved.

Back at the cabin, Michael explained to Valerie and Sonny that Carly was out looking for Nelle, and that Jax was out looking for Carly. Sonny didn’t like the sound of that.

Michael then got a call from Jax on his satellite phone saying that he found Carly. Michael asked if they had found Nelle, and Jax pretended that the signal was breaking up and disconnected the call.

Carly and Jax continued their argument in the woods, with Carly arguing that coverups never work out as planned. Jax said that the DA would punish Carly to get to Sonny, and that he wouldn’t let that happen. Jax urged Carly to go with him back to the clearing where she had fought with Nelle.

At the cabin, Valerie found Nelle’s and Wiley’s fake passports that had disappeared from the PCPD evidence locker. Michael decided to go take Wiley home, and Sonny said he’d go with them.

After Michael and Sonny left, Jax and Carly walked in and talked with Valerie. Valerie asked Carly if she had found Nelle in the woods. Carly looked hesitant.

Michael returned to the Q mansion, where Willow was asleep on the couch. Michael took Wiley up to his room, and Willow awoke to hear Michael talking to Wiley on the baby monitor. Willow raced upstairs and looked at Wiley, who was sleeping, then hugged Michael.

At the pier, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) arrived to find Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) waiting there for her. Jason revealed that he had found Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) shot there earlier.

Jason noticed that Jordan was surprised that Taggert was shot but not that he was alive. Jordan said that she helped fake Taggert’s death to protect him and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).

Jordan and Jason argued, with Jason pointing out that Taggert didn’t take Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) out partly because he wanted to let Jordan handle this.

Jason pointed out that his motorbike accident was no accident, and Jordan figured it was Cyrus. Jordan lamented that not even Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) knew about Taggert being alive, and that surprised Jason.

Jason thought that perhaps Jordan should tell Curtis the truth, but Jordan argued that it could destroy her marriage at this point. Jason agreed to work with Jordan on this and let Taggert stay dead as far as anyone was concerned.

In Geneva, Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) had nightmares as he slept at the WSB facility. Soon, Dante’s treating doctor came in, and Dante nearly attacked him.

The doctor offered meds to help with the nightmares, but Dante said that he didn’t want them, since the drugs put him in a fog. The doctor told Dante that he was getting pressure from his superiors, and that they wanted Dante to go home immediately.

Dante wondered why, and the doctor said that the director wanted Dante for a priority op that concerned someone close to him – a friend or maybe even family. Dante asked if this was about his father, but the doctor didn’t know.

Dante thought the director could just go to hell, but the doctor told Dante that he could either sit in this room and rot or address his PTSD and get back to his life.

Dante thought that he had spent enough time locked up, and he said he was ready to do the treatment. Dante asked how long the treatment would take, and he said that he didn’t know how much of his family is still waiting around for him.

At Kelly’s, Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) had coffee together. Portia apologized for bringing up their past at the Nurses’ Ball, and that led to a walk down memory lane.

Curtis said that when they were together, he was early in his recovery, and when he found out that Portia was married, he just couldn’t continue since honesty is so important to him.

Curtis went on, saying that he liked Portia then, but that when she revealed that she was married, he couldn’t trust her.

After some more conversation about the importance of honesty and integrity, Curtis had to go, but he made sure to tell Portia that he had shared their conversation at the Nurses’ Ball with Jordan. Portia looked unnerved.

Outside Kelly’s, Lulu walked by and got a text from Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) saying that the kids were in bed and the wine was uncorked. Lulu smiled and sent back a text that she was on her way with a heart emoji.

At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) arrived, and Sam shared that she was peeved at Jason for checking himself out of the hospital against medical advice. Sam said that Jason left to help Michael find Wiley, but that she hadn’t heard from him and didn’t know where he was.

Talk turned to the Nurses’ Ball, and Alexis fished for information to see if Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) had been there. Sam thought that Alexis should just admit that she wants Neil, but Alexis said that Neil left when she turned him away last time…but that he wasn’t supposed to listen to her.

Soon, Neil came to the door, and Sam made herself scarce. Neil and Alexis sat down and Neil asked if Alexis still thought that they couldn’t be friends.
