General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, January 3, teases that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will face questions. GH fans know Ava Jerome (Maura West) pushed Valentin too far, so he decided to push back. In fact, Valentin pushed Ava right off the parapet, so she landed in the water with a huge splash.
On Friday, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) will find Valentin and ask what he’s doing out there. She may grow suspicious briefly, but Valentin’s a pro at handling “ma petite.” He’ll probably just brush off his shady behavior and insist they have to get ready for the wedding right away.
However, there may not be a wedding if Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has anything to say about it. She appears to be sticking with her plot for vengeance, but Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) just showed up at her door. He’ll want to convince Nina that she has to rise above this desire for revenge.
Jax will understand Nina’s fury, but dumping Valentin at the altar isn’t going to solve anything. He’ll note that taking out Valentin will mean taking out Charlotte. Is breaking that little girl’s heart again really wants Nina wants? Jax won’t think so, and he won’t think Nina’s a vengeful person at her core.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will have an important discussion with Laura Webber (Genie Francis). They’ll have Charlotte’s latest Cassadine ring claim on their minds.
Laura will contend that they have to accept it whether they like it or not. She may think they should be open to the option that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) somehow survived.
Then again, Laura may feel like Charlotte found out about the ring another way and is digging her heels in on this lie. No matter what Laura and Lulu think is going on, they’ll face a serious bombshell before the night’s over. GH fans can expect two stunning guests to derail the nuptials.
Will Ava emerge from the water and strut her soaked self in on Nik’s arm? That seems like a good possibility at this point.
Over with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), they’ll talk about Brook Lynn Ashton’s (Amanda Setton) dilemma. Brook Lynn’s stuck in some manager drama and has a pretty horrible contract she’s struggling to get out of.
Nevertheless, Ned may think it’s best to let Brook Lynn tackle this alone. He’ll note that Brook Lynn made her bed, so she’ll have to lie in it.
General Hospital spoilers also point to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) serving as a distraction. He’ll bring up a favor he could use, so Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will have something to keep her mind off all the wedding chaos.
Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will have a steamy New Year’s Eve celebration. They’ll make love, cuddle and hope that 2020 will be an even better year for their relationship.
Sadly, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) romance will take a crushing turn. GH viewers know Sam just made a difficult admission. After her parole officer left, Jason came home and learned this would be the last time he sees Sam.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam will insist she’s being sent back to prison – and Jason will be the reason why. Between Jason’s mob ties and shady history, just being around him is apparently a violation.
This seems awfully extreme, so perhaps Sam can work it out to where she simply stays away from Jason. She’ll hope there’s a way to fight their latest hurdle, but another tough blow’s ahead.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will eventually weigh in and let “JaSam” know she can’t keep them together. Despite Diane’s best efforts, Jason and Sam will have to be apart for a while. Thankfully, General Hospital spoilers say this duo’s luck will turn around in the near future. The start of 2020 will still be pleasant for Jason and Sam, even if they have to get over this hiccup first.
