General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, January 31, teases that some hot drama’s brewing. Before we dive in, we should point out impeachment trial coverage has been bringing preemptions in many areas. If GH isn’t airing where you are, be sure to visit ABC.com for any missed episodes. Now let’s talk about what’s coming up on Friday.
For starters, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will get fed up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). She’ll be sick of him being the strong, silent type – at least when it comes to official police business.
Jordan will think Jason needs to be thankful she’s looking into Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enemy. She’ll advise Jason to show his gratitude by cooperating, but that’s something Jason rarely does when it comes to cops.
Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will deliver unsettling news to Dev Cerci aka “Dev Cerci” (Ashton Arbab). He’ll bring Dev up to speed on the three shootouts – one of which Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was involved in. Dev should be concerned about Josslyn, but thankfully she was only shaken up.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was rattled by the ordeal as well, but it’ll be Michael who battles the most worries. He’ll realize he can’t put Sasha in this kind of danger, so he’ll resolve to break up with her.
Michael will think it’s for Sasha’s own good, but she won’t agree with that. At some point within the next couple episodes, they’ll have a heated confrontation about their future together.
Sasha’s poised to win that argument, but we should also talk about a different faceoff. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will still be fuming over missing Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).
Every day that goes by is another day Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) has to live without her mother. Hayden’s missing out on Violet’s childhood – and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is responsible.
Finn will suggest that if Nik thinks he’s gotten away with this, he should think again. The determined doc will have no intention of letting Nik’s actions slide.
General Hospital spoilers say Finn will give a fierce ultimatum on Friday. He’ll probably tell Nikolas to bring Hayden back home or else he’ll make sure Nik pays the price.
As for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’s in for a shock thanks to Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) confession. When Liz rants about what Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) did, Jax will admit Valentin isn’t to blame this time.
Jax will point the finger at Nikolas, so Liz will know Nik drove her sister right out of Port Charles.
Hayden is off the grid now and away from her loved ones, so Liz will fly into a rage. She’ll corner Nikolas and slap the heck out of him, so that should be satisfying to watch. Nik already got a slap from Laura Collins (Genie Francis), but he deserves far more!
Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll grill Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) about her son’s return. Since Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) showed up alive after Gladys claimed he was dead, Carly will question Gladys’ motives for keeping his survival a secret.
Gladys may explain somewhat, but she’ll be a bit preoccupied thanks to Brando’s injuries. Thankfully, Brando’s going to be just fine.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will rip into Valentin. He’ll be doing the same old song and dance about how much he still loves Nina.
However, Valentin can never be honest and now his life’s unraveling – partially because of Nina’s actions. She’ll bring her role in the takedown plot to Valentin’s attention and hope he can see how toxic all this is.
Despite any lingering love in Nina’s heart, she’ll feel like this relationship is too broken to fix. General Hospital spoilers say some great scenes are on the way, so stay tuned. We’ll give you updates as other GH details emerge. Stick with the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
