General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, October 2, tease that some hot drama’s on the way. Before we dive in, we should note that the ABC soap will be preempted for Major League Baseball coverage on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
There’s also a possible preemption on Friday, but these General Hospital spoilers are still set for Friday as of right now. That should be when the next new episode of General Hospital will air, but just keep in mind that the schedule could change!
Now let’s talk about the action that’s about to heat up. For starters, homecoming night will continue as guests arrive at Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) place.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) already joined Jax and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will soon bring Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) over, too.
“Dev Corbin” aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), Cameron Webber (William deVry), Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will round out the group. This is all about coming together so the teens can show off their outfits and get some pics made before the dance.
Jax will insist that Josslyn’s public awaits, so she’ll descend the stairs looking lovely and hope Cam notices. Cameron may indeed notice, but it looks like it’ll be Trina who mostly captures his attention.
This could bring back some memories of when Trina and Cameron were supposed to attend the winter formal as friends. That night ended in disaster thanks to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
As a result, Cam may want to check on Trina and make sure she’s holding up OK. Trina will contend that Cameron’s all she needs to feel safe, so it sounds like some close moments are coming up.
Over with Liz, she’ll chat with Portia and suggest she calls something “being ready with benefits.” Of course, the real point of this conversation may be for these moms to discuss Cameron and Trina’s bond.
Later, Dev will keep pining for Joss, who’ll likely be jealous over Cam’s growing interest in Trina. However, Dev will swing the discussion to him and point out that he doesn’t see Josslyn much anymore.
Joss may argue that she’s been busy or even deny that there’s been distance between them lately. Whatever the case, maybe Dev can give Joss a hint about his feelings for her and what he really wants.
Other GH spoilers say Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will make a phone call and insist he’d very much like for someone to be part of his team. As Cyrus tries to expand his squad, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will get busted. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will catch Sam following him and wonder why exactly.
That should lead to some “JaSam” conflict, even though Sam’s main goal should be keeping Jason safe. It also looks like Sam will realize Julian could be getting tangled up in Cyrus’ dangerous world. She may spot them together since we know Sam’s going to corner Julian and demand answers on Friday.
Cyrus wants to buy Charlie’s Pub and came through for Julian with an alibi for the time of Martin Gray’s (Michael E. Knight) mugging – seemingly to get on Julian’s good side. If Sam hears about Cyrus’ offer, she may warn Julian not to make any more trouble for himself.
Over with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he’ll stun Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) by asking how she could do this. Ava may worry that Nik found out about the kiss betrayal pic, but he’s hiding one of his own and will probably be talking about something else entirely.
Regardless, there’ll be some tension along with Nikolas’ attempt to mask how he actually feels about Ava.
Back with Nina and Carly, they’ll strengthen their friendship while Sonny takes an important call. Sonny may get updates on Cyrus sniffing around Julian and find another reason to hate both their guts! We’ll fill you in as other GH news becomes available.
