General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, October 23, tease that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will do some investigating. When Jordan approaches Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the Metro Court, she’ll ask plenty of questions about Britt’s work at the hospital.
Britt will get grilled about her connection to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), so she’ll wonder if she’s under arrest.
By the time this conversation wraps up, Jordan will gain a better understanding of Britt’s link to Cyrus. Perhaps things aren’t as they seem since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) suggested Britt was too smart to risk prison again.
Britt may be working an angle if she’s part of a takedown plot and is just pretending to be Cyrus’ puppet.
As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll corner Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about the latest attempt to find Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost child. Curtis will ask if it was Jax’s call to continue the search, so Jax should shut down that idea.
Although Jax has certainly offered Nina plenty of support, this was her decision. Nina doesn’t feel like she can rest until she gets answers about her biological son or daughter. Jax may warn that if Curtis doesn’t help find Phyllis Caulfield, then Nina will just turn to someone else.
Maybe Jax will argue that Curtis can finally grant Nina’s wish of a reunion or give her closure. Either way, this search has to happen – and Phyllis is the next step toward uncovering the truth. General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Jax will make a deal on Friday’s episode, so stay tuned to hear all the details.
In the meantime, it looks like Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will confront Cameron Webber (William Lipton) about what’s really happening between them. Are they friends? More than friends? Trina will just want to know!
All his uncertainty about where they stand has been stressful, but Cam may admit he does have more than friendly feelings for Trina.
Of course, Cameron has feelings for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as well, but he doesn’t think she returns them thanks to Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” and his journal manipulation. Dev has also been manipulating Joss into thinking that she’s “crowding” Cam and Trina, but Josslyn will refuse to give up.
“Let’s see him try to ignore me to my face,” Josslyn says in Friday’s GH preview video. Dev will seem taken aback by Josslyn’s plan to confront Cameron. This could obviously be risky for Dev since Cameron could blab about the journal he stole. If Cam were to mention the entry about how awful the kiss was, Joss could put the puzzle pieces together and realize Dev forged it.
However, that’s not going to happen anytime soon! Dev will plant more doubts for Josslyn on Friday, so he might claim Cameron confided in him. Maybe Dev will share a story similar to the one he forged in Joss’ journal.
If Dev can convince Josslyn that Cam wasn’t into the kiss, maybe she’ll be too embarrassed to bring anything up to him.
Over with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll invite someone to join her at the Metro Court bar. It looks like Alexis will keep drinking and self-sabotaging, but she probably won’t listen to any advice she receives. Alexis will likely have to hit rock bottom before she gets help – and she’s not there yet.
As for Julian Jerome (William deVry), he’ll have a tough day for a couple of reasons. For starters, Julian will receive a threat via postcard. That sounds like a move right up Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) alley since he’s sitting on info that could put a deadly target on Julian’s back.
Ryan may send Julian a little reminder that without Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) divorce, Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter will end up with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Cyrus will also cause issues for Julian when he stops by Charlie’s Pub again. As Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) stands nearby, Cyrus will insist he’s got an offer that Julian will find impossible to turn down.
Finally, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will bicker with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) by Nelle’s grave. When Nina pushes Carly to get lost, Carly will confidently declare she’s right where she’s supposed to be.
GH fans know Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) ended up coming to Nelle’s burial after all and said something sort of nice all things considered. Chase pointed out that he’d probably still be a cop in Maine if it weren’t for Nelle.
Although Chase knows Nelle never intended any benefit to him, he did indeed benefit in some ways since he landed in Port Charles.
Chase just figured he could acknowledge that, so Nina seemed appreciative. As for Carly, she may feel like the only good thing that came out of Nelle was her own kidney – which was given to Josslyn and recently made a creepy appearance in Carly’s dream.
Nina will object to how cold Carly is on Friday, so prepare for more cemetery drama. As other GH news and updates become available, we’ll fill you in.
