General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the ABC soap recently released some new footage, which features the one and only Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot)! You’ve probably heard by now that Tracy is coming home for the holidays – and GH spoilers confirm her first episode back will be Monday, November 30.
Since it was a short week on General Hospital, the show’s Twitter account decided to offer viewers a little gift. You don’t have to wait until Monday to see some great moments in Port Charles. GH posted a deleted scene, which was originally supposed to be included in Monday’s episode.
This scene didn’t make the cut for whatever reason, but General Hospital still posted it for fans to enjoy. Since the cast and crew filmed it, they might as well let us see it.
Again, this scene won’t be featured on Monday, but it helps establish some context and allows us to get inside the characters’ heads a bit more. Not to mention it’s fun and provides a first glimpse at Jane Elliot’s return as Tracy!
“Tracy has thoughts about Olivia’s plan for a traditional Thanksgiving turkey,” the GH account tweeted. “Enjoy this deleted scene from Monday’s all-new #GH! Here’s to hoping it holds you over until then. #GeneralHospital”
As for the clip itself, it features Tracy at the airport while Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is on the phone with her at the Quartermaine mansion. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) are acting all cute and couple-y in the background, so that’s something “Millow” fans will enjoy.
After Tracy calls unexpectedly, she asks Monica if they can skip the pleasantries and launches a lecture about Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) plans. “I understand that Olivia is hard at work making a turkey dinner, which is fated to get ruined like every other Thanksgiving meal,” Tracy insists.
Monica argues that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) wanted a traditional meal for Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan), so that’s what Olivia’s doing. Monica adds that Olivia is trying to cling to some kind of normalcy.
Tracy interrupts and offers a reminder of the harsh reality of Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) situation.
“Olivia needs to go to the hospital! She needs to wrap her head around what’s happening to Lulu,” Tracy snaps. “Look, loath though I am to admit it, with Ned and Brook at odds, you and Olivia are keeping this family together. And YOU need to be the voice of reason.”
Tracy then hangs up on Monica, who’s a tad confused. “Tracy? Tracy? Did I lose you? Hopefully…” Monica says. All of this sounds like classic Tracy and Monica drama, but there’s undoubtedly a good reason GH chose to cut this scene – and that reason may be to preserve the surprise.
Since General Hospital spoilers say a shocking return will lift spirits and come at exactly the right time, Tracy should come walking through the mansion door eventually. The moment is bigger and better without any Tracy scenes beforehand, so that might be why GH chose to leave this scene on the cutting room floor.
Luckily, we still get to see it thanks to General Hospital’s tweet, so that’s something to be grateful for this year! As other GH news rolls in, we’ll offer more updates.
