General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the ABC soap has some MLB preemptions coming up, but some great encore episodes are scheduled to air instead. September 29, September 30 and October 1 will bring repeats instead of new originals. Another preemption is possible on October 2, so that’s something to keep in mind.
However, let’s talk about these three confirmed MLB-related preemptions. On Tuesday, September 29, GH will deliver an exciting throwback episode that first aired on February 3, 2015. In this fantastic encore, Jake Webber (Hudson West) has some memory flashes that point to a bomb on The Haunted Star.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampogna) makes it out of an explosion alive along with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Meanwhile, Carlos Rivera (Jeffery Vincent Parise) gun shot stuns Ava Jerome (Maura West), who tumbles off the bridge.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fails to rescue Ava while Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) makes a bold move to make sure Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) stays in his orbit.
Next, we should address the action happening on Wednesday, September 30. General Hospital will re-air an episode from February 4, 2015, so we’ll see a continuation of Tuesday’s stories.
The explosion brings chaos to Port Charles along with a surprising hero in the aftermath, so GH fans won’t want to miss these blast-from-the-past moments.
Thursday, October 1, keeps the explosion drama going strong with the episode from February 5, 2015. In this action-packed encore, Sonny’s life is on the line following a desperate mission.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) also sparks some worries for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) – and Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) has a homecoming shocker waiting for her when she arrives.
It’s nice that General Hospital plans to offer three episodes in order instead of skipping around. That way GH viewers can fully enjoy the 2015 explosion mayhem and remember how it went down – or experience for the first time if you haven’t seen it before!
