General Hospital Spoilers: GH Preemption Schedule – See How Major League Baseball Coverage Affects ABC Soap Week

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some preemptions are coming up during the week of September 28-October 2, so let’s talk about what you can expect. Major League Baseball coverage will be the focus for the next few days, so General Hospital won’t be airing new episodes on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

However, some markets will air encore episodes from February 2015, so you can tune in for some blast-from-the past explosion drama if you’re lucky enough to get them. As for everyone else, there’ll be MLB games airing on September 29, September 30 and October 1.

Here’s where things get a bit tricky. General Hospital is currently scheduled to air a new episode on Friday, October 2, but that may or may not pan out.

It all depends on how things shape up in the world of Major League Baseball! If the coverage requires an extra day, then GH will air a repeat on Friday and bump that episode to Monday.

No one can know for sure on that just yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see how these MLB games go. Of course, CDL will have all the latest updates and news for you! You can check back here and find out if GH will air a new episode on Friday as planned or if they’ll have to postpone it instead.

As of right now though, General Hospital spoilers have an action-packed show listed for Friday, which will include the homecoming dance and tons of teen drama. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), “Dev Corbin” aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron Webber (William deVry) will all be featured as this special night takes an interesting turn.

General Hospital spoilers also point to more Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) mayhem as he works to recruit a new team member. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get some Cyrus info he doesn’t approve of, so he may hear about Cyrus’ visit to see Julian Jerome (William deVry). Cyrus plus Julian equals trouble as far as Sonny’s concerned!

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will call Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) out for spying on him if Friday’s episode proceeds as expected. There’ll be marriage issues for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) as well thanks to a shocking discovery.

Ava may scramble to cover up the real reason for her blackmail payment, but Nikolas will likely wind up doing the same!

To recap, General Hospital will be preempted for Major League Baseball coverage on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, so you’ll either see MLB games or GH encores depending on your particular market. Friday’s episode is supposed to be new – but that’s only if the baseball coverage wraps up by then.

General Hospital spoilers say the show will get back to business as usual during the week of October 5-9, so there’ll be five new episodes headed your way. CDL’s where you want to be for hot General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to stop by frequently for more details.
