General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will eventually get some news that’s sure to leave him thrilled. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) clearly wasn’t planning on getting pregnant right now, but she’s definitely expecting a child with Peter. GH spoilers confirm that, so Maxie’s upcoming pregnancy test will offer positive results.
That means Peter will get some stunning updates down the road, and you can bet he’ll give Maxie plenty of reassurance. Peter always knows just the right thing to say, even when he’s doing exactly the wrong thing behind Maxie’s back!
General Hospital fans know Peter’s keeping some sinister secrets – and he’s doing even more sinister things to keep those secrets under wraps. Peter’s problems tend to snowball and that trend will likely continue thanks to Maxie’s bun in the oven.
This dad-to-be will be left scrambling, but Peter’s efforts will be futile in the end. There’s just no chance GH will let Peter’s massive cover-up stay intact. Once Peter’s dark side is exposed, will this baby keep hope for “Paxie’s” future alive? Will General Hospital use this kid as a path to true redemption for Peter?
Maxie probably won’t want Peter anywhere near her baby once she realizes the depths of Peter’s deception. Peter is a deadly criminal who simply can’t stop lying to Maxie. That’s not the kind of man Maxie deserves – and it’s not the kind of dad this child deserves either.
Can Peter rise above his Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) roots and truly become a better man that his father? Is Peter capable of being a good dad to this little one?
Peter might have his work cut out for him when it comes to getting back together with Maxie after his exposure. Although Peter may wiggle out of legal ramifications as most soap characters tend to do, winning Maxie back could be harder.
Even so, Peter could fight to coparent this kid. He would likely want the opportunity to prove he’s more than his mistakes. This baby could serve as a turning point that shifts the character in another direction. If GH intends to keep Peter around, that’d probably be the way to go.
