General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Julian Jerome (William deVry) is a dead man walking after the horror he’s inflicted on Port Charles. Julian was gullible enough to believe Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) would wait until Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was alone to detonate the bomb.
The truth is Cyrus didn’t care who was killed in that blast as long as Jason was in the rubble.
Julian is facing even more issues since the bomb didn’t kill the one person it was supposed to! Jason is alive and well, but Julian probably won’t be for long. General Hospital chose to sink Julian pretty low since he nearly killed his own grandson.
Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) was at The Floating Rib with his dad, so he narrowly escaped death – and that’s because of Grandpa Julian.
Now Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) and Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) are dead. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) could also face a grim fate before this nightmare is over. It’s safe to say Lulu will either wind up comatose indefinitely or six feet under, so the body count continues to rise.
The sad part is there was no point in any of this. Julian didn’t even take out the intended target, so it was all an explosive waste! If Cyrus doesn’t kill Julian for his incompetence and to tie up loose ends, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will surely take care of that for him.
Sonny just received some vital pieces of information from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who explained that Julian was in on the baby switch cover-up. Julian wasn’t part of that plot from the start, but he still got in on it pretty early on.
Sonny obviously isn’t happy about Julian keeping Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) from his true father, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Shortly after the baby swap was exposed, Sonny warned they’d have a problem if he found out Julian was involved. Now they have a problem!
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) flipped out on Britt for telling Sonny the truth, and that’s because he knows there’s a good chance Lucas Jones’ (Matt Trudeau) father will die. Sonny isn’t the type of guy who lets people get away with too much.
However, it’s the bomb that may be the worst blow of all for Julian. Sonny considered Dev to be part of his family – and it’s rare that you kill a member of Sonny’s family and live to tell the tale.
On November 25, Jason and Sonny will put their heads together. They’ll try to figure out exactly how Cyrus intended to collect on the favor Julian owed him, which they believe was having Brad stabbed in prison.
Of course, Julian didn’t ask Cyrus to do that, but it’s become a critical part of the puzzle for Sonny and Jason. Considering that massive explosion happened and Julian was lurking around nervously, this isn’t rocket science.
Sonny and Jason should eventually realize Julian was sent to plant the bomb. They may also figure out it was intended for Jason since Cyrus was taken aback to see him at GH.
General Hospital spoilers say Julian may hide out for a while with Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) help, but there doesn’t seem to be much hope for Julian. There’s no guarantee Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will save Julian after Lulu’s grim fate – not that Nikolas could if he tried!
Sonny, Jason and Cyrus all seem like they’d come out on top in a battle against Nikolas.
It’s possible Julian will manage to disappear, but a deadly outcome seems more likely. After all, if Julian ever returned, the same targets would still be on his back. William deVry insists he’s done at General Hospital anyway, so Julian may be a goner.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason and Sonny will discuss what’s next during the week of November 30-December 4 – and whatever it is may mean bad news for Julian! We’ll provide updates as other details emerge.
