General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be a man with a plan. As much as Jason loves Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), he can’t risk sneaking around with her. Sam’s kids need her, so staying apart is what they must do for now. It’s the only way to keep Sam from heading back to Pentonville.
Of course, that’s not a long-term solution for Jason and Sam. These two have been fighting hard to be together ever since Jason returned, so they’re not going to let this keep them down. This is simply GH’s way of giving Jason some extra motivation.
Jason needs to rev up his fight to take down Peter August (Wes Ramsey), so this will reignite his fury toward Peter for framing Sam and give him more free time to pursue it. There’s no guarantee exposing Peter would help Sam, but it certainly couldn’t hurt.
Furthermore, Jason won’t stand for this kind of injustice. He’s the kind of guy who wants somebody to pay when his loved ones get hurt.
Drew Cain (Billy Miller) is presumed dead thanks to Drew, so that’s another reason for Jason to go after him. Jason clearly adores Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) and surely wants Peter to go down for killing her father. Although Jason wasn’t exactly close to Drew, they were twin brothers and there’s a certain level of solidarity in that.
Jason doesn’t want to see Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) paired up with a guy like Peter either. Maxie is the mother of Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) child, so Jason will want to look out for her well-being.
Jason’s Peter mission has gone on the backburner due to all the Sam drama, but that worsening Sam drama is exactly what could bring Peter’s downfall.
General Hospital spoilers says Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Jason will end up working together in some way. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will also be involved since he wants to convince Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that Peter’s bad news. Finn fears more lives could be lost if something isn’t done – and he’s probably right!
Anna could eventually join this Peter takedown team, but Jason will likely be the ringleader. This ordeal with Sam will be a motivation boost, so Jason will do whatever it takes to sink Peter and hopefully clear the path to being with Sam again. Exposing Peter’s sinister crimes could be an important step in the right direction.
