General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will continue to build a strong relationship with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), but for how long? Nina was hurt deeply by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who just couldn’t ever truly be honest with his love. After getting burned one too many times, Nina finally had to walk away.
Of course, Jax has always been a bit of a rebound for Nina. In Nina’s eyes, Jax is honest and loyal. Nina knows Jax has made some mistakes of his own, but she also trusts in who he is now. It seems like Nina has fallen for Jax because he’s he anti-Valentin – to her anyway.
Nina doesn’t see Jax as someone who would lie and betray her, but she may be wrong about that!
GH fans know Jax offered to help Nina track down her biological daughter. Nina didn’t think it would do much good since Valentin already exhausted all options. However, it looks like Nina will ultimately relent.
Nina just can’t let go of this idea that her child may be out there somewhere, so she desperately wants to connect with her.
Little does Nina know her bio daughter’s sitting at the Crimson assistant desk! Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) has the other half of the missing heart pendant, which Jax may uncover at some point.
Jax’s search for answers might lead back to Nelle. His efforts may prove more successful than Valentin since he’s hoping to tackle this project from a different angle – like tracing the necklace’s origins.
What happens if Jax learns Nelle is Nina’s bio daughter? By then, who knows what other destruction and mayhem Nelle will have caused! This custody battle is about to turn into an even bigger mess with the Corinthos clan.
As Ava Jerome (Maura West) mentioned, Jax is always going to put Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) first. Nina might learn that lesson the hard way.
It’s easy to imagine Jax discovering the truth and being torn about his next move. Jax wouldn’t want to keep Nina’s bio daughter a secret – but Nelle?! General Hospital viewers can see how Jax might consider just pretending he never learned anything at all.
Nevertheless, Jax may not be able to keep a lid on this daughter shocker, especially if Nelle ends up wearing the necklace in front of Nina. Nelle could at least see Nina’s half and start asking questions that lead to a DNA test.
That necklace was introduced as a crucial element and should be part of the big reveal.
Will Jax prove he’s just as bad as Valentin? Could Jax tamper with the DNA results to make Nina believe Nelle’s not a match? Jax might excuse it as doing what’s best for Nina, but she’d probably argue that it’s actually what’s best for Carly!
Nina would inevitably find out and accuse Jax of not wanting Nelle to have anyone in her corner against the Corinthos family. Would this drive Nina back to Valentin who loves her with all his heart?
It’d be a great way for Nina to see that maybe Valentin wasn’t so terrible. At least Valentin’s DNA tampering was about giving Nina a daughter, not taking one away!
There might be some debate about whether Jax would stoop that low, but perhaps we shouldn’t underestimate what Jax will do for Carly and her loved ones. There has to be a reason Ava drove that Carly point home.
