General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we’re approaching Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) final episodes on the ABC soap. Fans all over social media are lamenting the end of Julian on the show, and exactly what happens to Julian remains to be seen, although the new GH December promo strongly suggests that it could be Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) who pulls the trigger on her brother.
Fans are clear that they are sad to see Julian go, and many are keeping their fingers crossed that Julian somehow won’t die.
As you might know if you follow William deVry on social media, he’s quite active on Twitter, and he’s been interacting with fans a lot in the past few weeks, as he generally tends to do.
Fans have been reporting their anguish in seeing Julian depart from the show, and William has been responding with a lot of heart and broken heart emojis in response to many of these messages.
William has been responding with some humor over the situation as well. For example, William recently tweeted the following along with a “thinking” emoji: “I wonder how many more GHs I have left to watch before removing from DVR???”
Then, in response to a spoiler article about the possibility of Julian being killed off the show, William re-tweeted the article, along with a broken heart and a heart emoji.
Some fans took that to mean that William was indicating that his character will definitely be killed off, although we should note that until Julian’s final episode airs, it’s all really up in the air.
Some fans are holding out hope that Julian might someday return to the show. One fan replied to one of William’s tweets by saying: “No one dies forever on a soap. At least I hope.” And someone else commented: “Maybe you’ll see something to open the door back up for Julian.” To that, William replied simply: “Eh.”
Another fan asked William on Twitter if he had any new gigs lined up. William replied: “I gotta arrange a lot of things. So taking some well needed time off. I have asked my peeps not to submit me for a few months.”
Fans had better gear up, because Julian’s final days are coming on GH. And if the new GH promo is any indication of how Julian will meet his end, it could be his own sister who ends things for him…in a very permanent way!
Of course, there’s always the possibility that Ava and Julian will be involved in a conspiracy to fake his death, so you never know… yet!
