General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Kim Nero’s (Tamara Braun) return may shake things up down the road. Of course, Kim’s comeback could be in the form of a recast since Tamara Braun is currently portraying Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives.
It’s possible General Hospital will wait until Braun is available, but we could just as easily see someone else debut as Kim.
Regardless, Kim’s crazy side could reappear now that she’s part of the story again. Although she told her nanny Julian Jerome (William deVry) was the father of her baby, Kim named her son Andrew aka “Andy.”
That lets us know Kim is still obsessed with Drew Cain (Billy Miller) – no matter who the real father of this kid is.
Kim might be lying, but let’s consider for a moment that she’s telling the truth. If this really is Julian’s baby, he’s not a factor anymore. Julian is dead and gone, so that’s that. Kim didn’t want Julian anywhere near Andy anyway, but GH’s decision to kill Julian off takes him out of the story completely.
However, what happens if Kim shows up in Port Charles claiming Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is the father of her child? If that’s a lie, Kim might resolve to do some paternity test tampering. We certainly wouldn’t put it past Kim based on her behavior the last time she was in PC.
It’s clear that Kim lost control of her life and went off the rails after Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) died. Kim may be doing a bit better now that she’s got Andy, but again – she wouldn’t have named her child after Andrew if she weren’t still fixated on him.
Kim’s Drew obsession will inevitably become part of her storyline once more.
Franco’s been hearing Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) voice and knows his memory wasn’t fully wiped clean of Drew. Once Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) starts messing with things, it could bring all of Drew’s memories rushing back.
Kim might get updates and see it as her opportunity to build a family with “Drew” aka Franco, whose memories were manipulated.
As an OB-GYN with all the connections she needs, it’d be easy for Kim to fake a paternity test if Franco has doubts. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) would probably like to see the “proof” for herself, too.
This could cause quite a war between Kim and Liz, particularly if Franco ends up having both sets of memories – his own and the ones that belonged to Drew.
GH spoilers say Elizabeth may feel the need to fight for her man! Baby or no baby, Liz won’t just hand Franco over to Kim. Franco is a beloved husband and a solid stepdad to Elizabeth’s boys, so she may dig her heels in and let Kim know she won’t let Franco’s heart be stolen.
