General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that fans will see some couples grow stronger on new episodes while others fall apart. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may find themselves in the unique position of doing both!
GH fans know Maxie’s pregnant with Peter’s baby, so that could certainly be something that brings these two closer – at least if Maxie chooses to reveal that huge news.
There are some signs that Maxie might hold off for a bit, but Peter always seems to quiet Maxie’s doubts and reel her back in. Peter seems on track to propose, so Maxie might be inclined to drop her baby bomb in that moment – if she hasn’t already by then.
Babies strengthen couples all the time on soaps, so that might set Maxie up for an even bigger fall.
Regardless, Peter and Maxie’s relationship has an expiration date thanks to all the terrible secrets he’s keeping. In fact, Kirsten Storms is already trying to find herself a new leading man!
On Instagram, Storms offered up a suggestion for Maxie’s romantic future. Let’s look at one love interest possibility Storms would like to see.
Storms posted a picture of Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford), which was recently used as part of the show’s social media countdown to new GH episodes. “They had me at a picture of @donnellturner,” Storms said. “New episodes of #GeneralHospital start NEXT WEEK!”
In the comments, someone piped up about wanting to see Maxie and Curtis together. “I’ve wanted a Curtis and Maxie pairing for awhile now!” a General Hospital fan insisted.
That led to an interesting reply from Storms, who seems to be all for the idea. “I’ve been dropping not so subtle hints about that for awhile,” Storms said.
Other fans started the debate of whether their ship name should be “Murtis” or “Caxie.”
Curtis is married to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) right now and has a backup option in Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), his former flame who’s likely lying to him about his daughter, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Still, you never know! Maybe a Maxie and Curtis pairing could be a possibility one day.
