General Hospital (GH) spoilers has a fun GH promo to pass along. The promo features Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) and Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) plus one of GH’s biggest stars – the GH Moss. As GH viewers are well aware, the GH Moss lives in the Corinthos kitchen, and it’s been the subject of much fan talk and speculation. It went from “What is that on the kitchen countertop?” to a growing fondness for the bowl of greenery.
Well, in the new GH promo, Laura Wright greets fans with a special holiday message. “Happy holidays from the entire cast and crew of General Hospital.” Steve Burton then appears carrying the bowl of GH Moss, points to it, and says, “And this guy, too.” Laura bursts out in laughter, and the promo ends on a high note.
Fans have been steadily responding on social media to the GH Moss holiday promo. One person wrote in: “My husband watches with me and we laugh at the moss; thank you and Merry Christmas!” And someone else commented: “Awe, that’s great!! You are all awesome and thanks for entertaining us day after day!!! Merry Christmas.”
Another fan replied: “Love the moss!” And someone else said: “I love when Steve is Steve. LW and SB as always rock.” This person was of course referring to the fact that Steve Burton wasn’t in character as the stoic Jason Morgan in the promo, which was a fun change. It was good to see Steve smiling and having fun out of character.
As you might be aware, the GH Moss even has its own Twitter account over at @TheMossBoss2 and is quite active tweeting about the show. So far, @TheMossBoss2 hasn’t commented on the new GH promo, but in recent days has commented on the breakup storyline involving Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). That moss definitely has some firm opinions!
Here’s to seeing more of the GH moss in the new year – it doesn’t look like the moss is going anywhere, and it should be part of the GH landscape until the Corinthos family decides to redecorate its kitchen. Hopefully the moss will stick around for a while!
