General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will get a surprise visitor during the week of December 7-11. Someone will show up that Laura wasn’t expecting, so who’s it going to be?
Since Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is in a coma with no real chance of waking up anytime soon, it makes sense that Laura’s visitor will arrive out of concern for her.
Will Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) return to Port Charles and pay his beloved grandmother a visit? This seems like a great opportunity for Spencer to head home, especially since Laura could really use a pick-me-up. Laura would certainly love the opportunity to see Spencer, who could easily stick around for the holidays.
The timing would be excellent now that things have shifted between Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Nikolas and Ava have fallen for each other, so Spencer needs to weigh in and ultimately come to grips with that.
Since Ava pulls a gun on Julian Jerome (William DeVry) in the December 1 episode, that could get back to Spencer and change his opinion of her. After all, Spencer used to be friends with Ava once upon a time.
He was angry about Ava selling out to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for selfish reasons, but this might show Spencer that Ava does have some loyalty to Nikolas.
Of course, that loyalty extends to Spencer as well. Spencer may see Ava in a new light soon, especially if Nikolas guides him in the right direction. Maybe Nikolas could have a heart-to-heart with his son and explain that what he feels for Ava is the real deal.
Nikolas might get on board with “Nava” and accept that their marriage is going to be a thing, even if it’s not what he’d prefer.
General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will have a surprise for Ava the same week Laura gets her visitor, so it’s possible all that’s related. Spencer would be a welcome familiar face in Port Charles right about now since he could be there for Laura and tie in with some other stories, too.
In addition to coming to terms with Ava and Nikolas’ marriage, perhaps Spencer could pop in to see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). There’d be so much for Spencer to do if he indeed comes home for the holidays soon, so let’s hope Nicolas Bechtel might have a return stint in the works.
