General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) explosion involvement could come with a mountain of consequences. Julian objected to doing Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) dirty work since innocent people could get hurt, but Cyrus insisted Julian would have to do what he’s told or else.
Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) is at The Floating Rib with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so Julian’s grandson is at risk. That alone could bring major ramifications if the truth comes out, but there’s another angle to consider here.
Since Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will most likely die according to General Hospital spoilers, her blood will be on Julian’s hands – at least some of it anyway. Cyrus may be pulling the strings, but Julian will be just as culpable if he makes that explosive delivery.
This is important since Lulu’s brother is married to Julian’s sister. This feels like a situation that could affect Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) marriage in a big way.
GH viewers know Nikolas recently lied to Sonny about ordering the hit on Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Nikolas argued that he knew Ryan had to be dealt with, so he took care of it. That led Sonny to point out the job was left unfinished.
Ryan is still in a coma, so that’s a problem. Sonny suggested that if Nikolas was going to take a shot that big – he couldn’t miss. Of course, Cyrus was actually behind the attack, but the dialogue still seemed significant. Could it have been setting up a different shot that Nikolas won’t miss?
If Nikolas finds out Julian is partially to blame for Lulu’s death, you can bet he’ll want revenge. That’s especially true since Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be in so much pain.
Nikolas put Laura through a lot with his own faked death, but he’s done his best to make things right. Once Lulu’s gone for real, it could leave Nikolas ready for retribution.
Cyrus is certainly someone Nikolas could go after, but Julian can’t get off scot-free. On the November 19 episode, GH fans saw some sweet scenes between the “Jiblings” where Ava told Julian she loved him.
Just before Ava left Charlie’s Pub, Julian called out that he loved her, too. It really highlighted the strong bond between Ava and Julian.
What happens if Nikolas kills Julian to avenge Lulu’s death? That sounds like some great angst for Nikolas and Ava in the weeks ahead.
Can their marriage survive if Ava’s brother kills Nikolas’ sister – and then Nikolas seeks murderous payback? We’ll offer updates as other GH news rolls in.
