General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) is having some fun with Sonny’s vanishing act and dropping hints about what it means for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). On Twitter, Benard shared a picture of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) holding Carly close and acted like it was a sign of trouble.
“It’s already starting. I am watching you Carly,” Benard insisted in a recent tweet. He added some eyeball emojis and scored a laugh from his costar, Laura Wright.
The GH actress offered up four rolling on the floor laughing emojis before asking, “Sonny Who??” Wright added three winking faces with their tongues hanging out to let fans know she was just kidding around.
Maura West (Ava Jerome) soon joined the hilarious Twitter chat and defended Carly’s need for someone to lean on. “Hey, the lady needs some comfort…” West said along with a nail polish emoji.
Benard replied that there should be some sort of code when it comes to best friends! However, Benard then suggested that maybe Ava could use some comfort, too.
It sounds like the gang’s just having a good time and trying to give fans a chuckle. It’d certainly be interesting if Carly fell for Jason while Sonny was out of the picture, but the latest 2021 preview info seems to point more in the direction of Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
General Hospital spoilers say Britt and Jason will become strong allies and friends, but they’ll also clash along the way. They’ll do some clashing as they grow closer, which sounds like a classic soapy love story if you ask us!
Nevertheless, no one can rule out a moment or two of weakness between Carly and Jason. At the very least, Benard and his costars’ tweets are good for a laugh or two!
