General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will be floored when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) makes a major admission. Maxie has developed some pregnancy suspicions, so she’ll be on a mission to find out the truth. Of course, the truth is that Maxie’s indeed expecting a baby.
Maxie may take some time to come to grips with this news and what it means for her life. Although Maxie has been trying to focus on her career lately, she may ultimately find the idea of having a baby with Peter appealing.
After all, Maxie knows Peter’s great with kids and has heard the rough stories about his childhood. She also knows Peter wants to be a better man than his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Maxie will be anxious about giving Peter baby updates, but she’ll surely hope and count on Peter being excited.
This is Peter’s chance to raise a child of his own and prove he can rise above his dark Faison roots. Sadly, Maxie doesn’t have a clue that Peter’s still as devious as ever! Once Maxie fills Peter in on this pregnancy shocker, Peter may drop another bomb on Maxie. Perhaps that’s when Peter will decide it’s time for a formal proposal.
Peter may buy a beautiful ring and come up with some over-the-top way to show Maxie how much he adores her. It’s easy to imagine Peter pulling out all the stops to show Maxie he’s all in on being a family.
Peter may make an emotional speech about his love for Maxie and the love he already has for this unborn child. He may work hard to prove to Maxie that they can be a beautiful family.
Since Maxie doesn’t know about all Peter’s awful behavior, she’ll have no reason to turn Peter down. In fact, Maxie and Peter will probably want to have their wedding right away.
It’s doubtful Maxie will be keen on having a wedding once she’s further along in the pregnancy, so they might as well get the show on the road and lock in their future immediately.
General Hospital is letting poor Maxie think she’s going to have it all! GH writers are setting Maxie up for terrible pain and disappointment once Peter’s exposed as a monster. Maxie will eventually have to find out that her fiancé and “baby daddy” is a villain, not a changed hero.
It sounds like some good stuff’s in the works, so GH fans won’t want to miss what’s in store.
