General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will find herself in need of a new love interest down the road. GH fans know Maxie’s got the wool pulled over her eyes when it comes to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Whenever any doubts or concerns come up, Peter’s able to quash them. Maxie’s just too in love to see the truth, which is that Peter’s a ruthless scoundrel.
However, General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will eventually updates on Peter’s crimes. When she does, Maxie’s going to be horrified. This man Maxie thought she knew so well still has a dark side – far darker than Maxie ever could’ve imagined! Peter’s actions are sure to end “Paxie,” so we should go ahead and start thinking about what’s next.
Maxie’s already forgiven Peter once for his secrets, so she’s not likely to forgive again. Never say never on a soap, but Maxie clearly won’t be forgiving Peter anytime soon. General Hospital’s setting up a brutal breakup that’ll leave Maxie shattered. Although Maxie can focus on her kids and her career, GH will surely let Maxie find love again sooner or later.
So who could General Hospital pair Maxie up with next? There’s a great option to consider – and he’s actually a lot like Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) in some ways. No one will ever replace Nathan in Maxie’s heart, but Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) has some similarities. Brando may be a little rougher around the edges, but he’s certainly a hero like Nathan and shows the same level of respect.
Even Brando’s looks and voice are a little like Nathan, so it’s easy to see why Maxie would be drawn to him. GH might’ve cast Brando with the intention of him being the new Nathan or at least someone for Maxie to fall for when the time’s right.
Fans can always hold out hope that General Hospital will bring Nathan back from dead somehow, but it’s probably a good idea to look at other love interest options. Maybe Maxie and Brando would make a hot pair! It’s worth a shot since Maxie and Peter’s relationship is about to blow up.
