General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may resort to a familiar strategy on new GH episodes starting August 3. When Peter starts feeling backed into a corner, history has proven that he does something about it. There’s no way Peter’s going down without a fight, so he’ll inevitably make some moves to save himself as the walls close in.
Peter made sure Drew Cain’s (Billy Cain) plane went down and ordered Andre Maddox’s (Anthony Montgomery) stabbing. Two more hits came later, although Peter ultimately intervened. Andre and Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) lives were spared – but just barely.
Then, Peter decided to make Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) his scapegoat. Since Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) was still suspicious, Peter called for a distraction. The list goes on and on! It’s clear that when Peter feels threatened, he puts a plan in motion and tries to fix the problem.
If Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) finally opens her eyes and starts to worry Peter isn’t the good guy she thought he was, she’ll be Peter’s biggest problem of all. Perhaps another distraction will be in order once new episodes return.
General Hospital spoilers point to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) defending Peter during the week of August 3-7. Although Peter had nothing to do with Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) fate, Robert may believe Peter knows more than he’s letting on.
GH fans can expect Maxie to have some second thoughts, so she may talk herself out of admitting her pregnancy to Peter just yet.
Of course, Peter might sense Maxie’s nervousness and assume she’s doubting him. Maxie might indeed end up doubting Peter if these second thoughts are any indication. If Maxie has doubts about revealing her baby news to Peter, maybe she has concerns on a subconscious level – or will even have some full-blown worries soon.
Regardless, Peter might think he needs to remind Maxie of his love and distract her with a grand gesture. If Maxie starts asking too many questions, Peter’s answer may be to ask her an important one instead!
Will Peter propose in hopes of adding to this “good guy” illusion? Peter might even ask Maxie to marry him and get the baby bomb dropped on him as part of her reply.
