General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will receive some news that could change everything. It’ll make some waves in Maxie’s relationship with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and could lead to big trouble. Of course, things may not seem so troubling at first. Is there a chance Maxie’s news will actually be positive – at least in the beginning?
Based on the situation that’s been presented, a pregnancy certainly can’t be ruled out for Maxie. After all, that’d be the ultimate dilemma. It’d provide some gripping GH drama! Will Maxie find out she’s pregnant with Peter’s baby and later see what a monster he is? Could a child make a difference in terms of how Maxie reacts?
Naturally, a baby would up the ante for Peter as well. Peter would want to give his son or daughter all the love he never received growing up. He has a family now, but Peter would want his little one to have that from day one.
Before Maxie inevitably learned the truth, Peter would be working even harder to keep their relationship intact. A baby would serve as extra motivation.
Although Peter would want to rise above his shady past, his son or daughter would be the priority. Peter would do everything in his power to make sure he could raise this child.
That means more dangerous moves in hopes of keeping sinsiter secrets under wraps. In other words, Maxie’s baby news could take Peter to even darker places. Peter might spiral out of control like never before.
Maxie’s pregnancy could rev up the pressure enough to spark mistakes – crucial ones that could destroy Peter’s dreams. Peter has everything he could ever want with Maxie and James West (Caleb and Kyler Ends), but what if Maxie drops a baby bomb?
Peter will really be over the moon! It’ll intensify that battle of good and evil we’ve always seen within Peter, who has a soft spot or kids.
If General Hospital decides to wave a soapy magic wand and get Peter out of legal hot water, a baby could be used as a path to redemption. Then again, it could leave Maxie with another child to take care of her own. Can you imagine if Peter was killed off and left Maxie to raise his baby?
That could create an interesting relationship between James and Peter’s kid – especially when you consider how Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) fits into all this. One child would hear about an amazing father while the other would learn all about his devious dad. That’d be a goldmine of material once the kids were SORASed someday.
