General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may soon find himself lingering between life and death. GH fans know Sonny confronted Julian Jerome (William deVry) with a gun, so now they’re gearing up for some shocking moments on a bridge.
Obviously, GH writers wouldn’t have included a random bridge in the story unless someone was going to fall off it! In fact, both Julian and Sonny could take the tumble.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that an amnesia storyline is ahead for Sonny, but first thing’s first. Sonny has to have an injured head before the rest of this story can play out.
GH viewers might see Sonny stuck in limbo as he fights to survive. Julian had some unpleasant hallucinations as death drew near, but Sonny might have a more hopeful vision.
General Hospital spoilers say Mike Corbin (Max Gail) will return soon, so he may play a crucial role in delivering guidance and pushing Sonny to stick around.
Mike appeared to Sonny following his funeral, but Sonny will need his dad more than ever during this ordeal. It’s easy to imagine Mike showing up to tell Sonny he can’t give up.
Sonny has to be there for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and his children. Mike wasn’t always the greatest father, so that’s just another reason why Sonny has to hang in there and be the dad his own kids need.
Since GH spoilers are pointing to amnesia for Sonny, he may not even recognize Mike during this ghostly visit. Mike might suggest he knows the feeling!
This would be an excellent way to tie in Mike’s memory loss before his death into the story. After all, Sonny worried he might face a similar fate when he opened up to Carly back in October.
Mike battled Alzheimer’s and often couldn’t remember much toward the end. Now that Mike’s healthy in the great beyond, he might tell Sonny to follow his heart and trust that he’ll remember eventually.
Mike could give Sonny the encouragement he needs to stay alive and begin the next difficult phase of figuring out who he is.
