General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Mike Corbin’s (Max Corbin) funeral is over and the reception has wrapped up, too. However, there’s one more thing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has to do before he can focus on grieving the loss and moving forward. During the week of October 19-23, Sonny will give Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) updates on Mike’s will.
Since Mike hadn’t had a proper discussion with Sonny about his end of life wishes, Sonny may be surprised that Mike laid out his final wishes in his will. However, Mike might’ve felt more comfortable putting his thoughts on paper.
While Mike was still lucid, he seemingly spelled out exactly who should get what once he was dead.
Of course, Mike didn’t have a ton to leave to his loved ones, but there’ll hopefully be some special belongings for each member of the Corinthos clans. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) received Adela Corinthos’ watch in a fantasy, so maybe she’ll get the real thing when it comes time for the official reading of Mike’s will.
Sonny already got his long-awaited bicycle from Mike shortly after his father passed away, but there may be some other surprising blast-from-the-past gift that Sonny didn’t anticipate.
If nothing else, Sonny could get some closure after hearing from Mike one last time. Mike will undoubtedly have some words of wisdom that should offer special meaning now that he’s gone.
Naturally, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) may cause more drama if she’s not included in this will. Gladys would also cause a fuss over Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) getting snubbed or at least not getting acknowledged enough.
If Brando needs a little more ammo to make sure his act has been bought, outrage over Mike’s will could play a role in fooling Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
This could easily push Gladys to take Cyrus up on his offer of help. Brando wants to work for Cyrus as part of a plot to help Sonny, but Gladys could do more harm than good! She’s the kind of character who always makes a mess of things, so it’s wise to keep an eye on this whole Gladys situation.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Mike’s will could serve as a way to close one chapter and start another dangerous one. It’ll be interesting to hear exactly what’s in Mike’s will and learn how it’ll affect the story. As other GH news comes in, we’ll keep you in the loop.
