General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, August 24 – Nelle’s Fate Decided – Sonny Corners Julian – Jason’s Suspicious Accident Report

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, August 24, tease that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will have some updates on Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Briana Lane) condition. Brook Lynn was just rushed to GH after Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) slashed her through backstage.

Now Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) are terrified and hoping for some positive news.

Brook Lynn’s going to pull through, but it’s clear that substantial damage was done. Portia might mention some potential vocal cord damage due to where Brook Lynn was sliced. There’s a good chance Brook Lynn’s singing career will be over before it ever really began, but at least she survived!

Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll have an interesting chat with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). “Don’t hate me for what I’m about to say,” Nina says in Monday’s General Hospital preview.

Nina might admit Ava Jerome (Maura West) got in her head when it comes to Jax and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) connection. Nina may hint at some worries and expect Jax to ease her mind.

Then again, this might be about Nina’s long-lost daughter. Nina might confess that she’d rather have a daughter who needs her – one who isn’t quite as perfect as her fake daughter, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), first seemed. Maybe Nina will suggest she needs to be needed and even feel a bit guilty about that.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will call the cops and report Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) kidnapping. Once Carly hears about this, she’ll immediately assume Nelle was behind the snatching.

However, the priority will be tracking Wiley down before Nelle has a chance to get too far with him. Carly’s plans for revenge will have to wait.

Of course, Nelle isn’t going anywhere now that Julian’s turned on her! Julian had a moment of clarity down by the docks, so he pulled a gun on Nelle and is ready to rid Port Charles of this problem once and for all.

“Somebody has to stop you!” Julian shouts as he continues aiming his weapon on Monday. Nelle genuinely looks fearful in Monday’s preview video, but she’ll do her best to wiggle out of trouble.

Perhaps Nelle will remind Julian of the sealed envelope she left at her lawyer’s office, which will send Julian’s straight to the police if she vanishes or turns up dead.

Nevertheless, Julian may not care at this point. Nelle fired her lawyer anyway, so why should Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) follow through on her orders? Martin may not even get paid! Nelle really has no leverage anymore, so she may realize she’s in deep trouble.

Here’s where things get a little tricky. Nelle will still be in a tight spot on Tuesday, so we know she lives to tell the tale. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) also seemingly corners Julian at Charlie’s Pub on Monday and demands answers.

So if Julian winds up back at the pub on Monday and Nelle’s still in a tight spot on Tuesday, what does that mean? It’s possible Nelle will take a bullet and be left bleeding on the pier. Julian might ditch Nelle and head back to the pub before being confronted by Sonny.

Then again, Julian might change his mind and stash Nelle somewhere. It’s even possible Nelle will give Julian the slip and be on the run once Tuesday rolls around. Whatever the case, Julian should find himself stuck in Sonny drama despite his best efforts to avoid it.

Over with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll talk to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about the preliminary report on his accident. Jason won’t want to rush to judgment, but there may be evidence that points to his motorcycle being tampered with.

Sam may point the finger at Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), but Jason might feel like they don’t have all the facts.
