General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, January 6, teases that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will leave Laura Webber (Genie Francis) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) in tears. They were floored along with everyone else as Nik barged in on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) wedding. Nikolas just dove in the water to save Ava Jerome (Maura West), who’s soaking wet and pretty out of it in Nik’s arms.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will take Ava from Nikolas, which will leave his arms free for some hugs. Laura will get emotional as she touches Nik’s face tenderly. She’ll pull Nikolas close before he eventually embraces Lulu as well.
As for Valentin, he’ll look like he’s just seen a ghost! Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will take Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) up to her room, but not before Valentin gives her a little pep talk. He’ll let Charlotte know everything’s going to be all right before she clasps hands with Nina briefly.
Valentin will ultimately look at Nina and begin putting the pieces together. He’ll realize Nina’s not looking too surprised by Nikolas’ survival, so he’ll assume there’s more to the story. Meanwhile, Laura and Lulu will try to understand how this is even possible. It won’t be long until Lulu suspects Valentin was holding Nikolas prisoner.
Monday’s GH preview video shows Lulu snarling, “You were behind this…WEREN’T YOU?!” However, Nikolas has been staying away on his own and will have quite a tale to tell about the codicil. He’ll let Valentin know that a deal has been made, so he now has control thanks to whatever he worked out with Ava.
Nikolas will proclaim that Valentin loses everything, so this will certainly be a shocking blow. The hits will keep coming as Nina confesses her knowledge of the plot.
She’ll also admit she never bought Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) lie about acting alone. Nina always believed Valentin was running the show, so she’s been scheming from that very day. Her partnership with Ava and Nikolas’ comeback fit in nicely with Nina’s plans.
Of course, Nina seemed tempted to truly say her vows during the wedding, but there’ll be no need for them now. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will naturally feel confused and betrayed. Things will look disastrous for this couple, so they’ll both assume their relationship is kaput.
Over with Maxie and Peter, they’ll talk about all the chaos that’s unfolding in the other room. Maxie will battle curiosity about why Nikolas has been all this time. None of this will make much sense to her, but Lulu should be able to provide some clarity once she gets the full scoop.
In the meantime, Peter will take a punch to the stomach courtesy of Valentin. Since Valentin will be in no mood for Peter’s antics, he’ll choose to let his fist do the talking.
Elsewhere, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will face backlash from Cameron Webber (William Lipton). He’ll scold Trina for interfering and wish she would’ve just stayed out of it.
The “it” Cameron’s referring to may be Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) relationship. Cam would undoubtedly like for Joss and Dev to remain friends, which would give him his own shot with Josslyn.
If Trina determines she’s caused a romantic setback for Cam, she should be sorry about that. Fortunately, these two will get their friendship back on track soon enough.
General Hospital spoilers say an intriguing pact is on the way. That might involve staying out of each other’s loves lives or possibly entering their own romance if they remain single for too long. The second option might even be something that starts out as a joke and becomes a real option later.
Across town, Joss will reflect on her difficult year and get some cheerful words from Dev. He’ll feel confident 2020 is going to be a far better year for Josslyn. General Hospital spoilers say Joss will make her move by planting a kiss on Dev.
Sadly, it seems Josslyn will be rejected. She’ll deal with disappointment soon after this lip lock, so Dev may contend that he just wants to be pals.
Dev should have his reasons for pushing Josslyn away, but that won’t make it hurt any less! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
