General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, November 2, tease that it’ll be Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) first election day, so Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will push Joss to get excited about it.
Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will also be on hand as they kick off this very special episode, which will bring an important message about voting.
Josslyn will point out that it’s just one vote and will wonder if it really matters. Carly will insist Josslyn still has a civic duty, so that’ll lead to Joss getting a history lesson about her great-great grandmother.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will also learn about the past as General Hospital celebrates the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage.
This episode will feature most of the show’s prominent female leads in roles that are different from their usual ones. There’ll be a bit of a time warp as we follow the story of Beatrice Eckert (Laura Wright) the suffragist and witness the aftermath of the 19th amendment.
Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford), Maura West (Ava Jerome Cassadine), Cassandra James (Terry Randolph), Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Brook Kerr (Portia Robinson), Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Baldwin) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) are also confirmed to be in the blast-from-the-past portion of this episode.
Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) tweeted about shooting something exciting around the time this was filmed, so look for her to pop up as well. There’ll also be some scenes in the present – and it looks like Ava’s gallery will have an exhibit devoted to the suffrage movement as well.
That should tie in with the valuable lesson Josslyn and Trina learn in Monday’s show.
“It’s one of those moments where you need to come outside of your bubble,” Trina says in GH’s latest preview clip. Trina will talk to Josslyn about making their choices and making their voices heard. We’ll see a polling place in Port Charles and a sense of excitement from those casting their votes.
General Hospital spoilers say Portia will help Ava out on Monday, so she may pitch in on the exhibit at the gallery. As for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), she’ll do her best to put a mistake behind her. Perhaps GH will tie in how Lucy was the deciding vote during all the ELQ drama.
Lucy wasn’t all that keen on supporting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), but she felt she had no choice. Fortunately, Lucy can make her own choice in this election – and that’s exactly what she’ll do.
