General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, November 30, teases that we’ll see some family gatherings and big decisions. Due to a scheduled preemption, GH fans won’t see a new episode on Friday, November 27. General Hospital will resume all the usual action on Monday, so let’s discuss some major story developments.
It’ll be Thanksgiving in Port Charles, but everyone will still be reeling from all the drama of the night before. That explosion will remain on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) minds, especially now that Sonny knows it was intentional.
They suspect Jason was the intended target – and GH viewers know they’re right about that.
Even so, Jason and Sonny will demand some answers soon enough. It appears Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will be confronted about the blast, but Sonny and Jason obviously won’t score a confession. They might, however, score some vague comments that lead them in Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) direction.
Cyrus is pretty put out with Julian for botching the attempt on Jason’s life, so he just might let Sonny and Jason take care of the pest! Regardless, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will want Julian to leave by dawn.
Ava’s determined to make Julian flee Port Charles since it’s a) the only way to keep Julian safe and b) the only way she’ll ever escape this vortex of Julian’s messes.
Unfortunately, Julian may not flee in time to avoid Sonny and Jason’s wrath. General Hospital spoilers say Jason will do some strategizing with Sonny, so Julian had better watch out!
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will be exasperated with Jason for never including her in his plans. Sam will have the danger Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) faced on her mind, too.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has learned to go with the flow when it comes to Sonny’s mob wars and all the peril that comes with them. She understands Sonny’s business and tries to make the best of it. Carly has learned by now that she can’t live without Sonny, so she has to live with the consequences.
Sam won’t be certain she can sign up for more of Jason shutting her out and putting the kids at risk. Carly will empathize with Sam since they both love complicated men and want to keep their children safe.
Of course, Carly will be rooting for Sam and Jason to make this work. She may warn that sometimes walking away can be harder than staying and putting up with all the rest.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will reflect on all the chaos of the night before. Since soap time moves slowly, the blast happened on the same night that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had her heart attack.
That was also the night Carly confesses the fake affair truth to Michael, so he’ll feel like he should fill Willow in. Willow will admit Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) told her they only pretended to cheat.
Michael and Willow will know Chase and Sasha’s motives were pure, but they still lied and manipulated the situation.
Willow and Michael are also falling for each other, so they can’t just rewind and act like nothing has changed. General Hospital spoilers say these two will need to have a more in-depth conversation later, but it seems Michael and Willow will save that for later in the week.
After all, there’ll be Thanksgiving festivities to contend with.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCiero) will be thrilled since the kitchen will be in her control for the day. GH spoilers state that Olivia will cook an elaborate turkey dinner with all the trimmings, so we have to wonder what will go wrong!
This meal is bound to turn into a disaster one way or another. Pizza is always on the menu for the Quartermaine clan, so Olivia’s plans won’t work out.
That goes for Olivia’s matchmaking plans as well. General Hospital spoilers say Olivia will apparently hope to set up Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will be asked to join in, but he may think this is a terrible idea. Olivia won’t realize Ned’s keeping her in the dark on the night of passion he shared with Alexis.
There’ll be some shockers happening at the Quartermaine mansion – and a surprise return will be one of them. Someone unexpected will walk through the door, so it sounds like this will mark the start of Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) holiday comeback stint.
At GH, Sasha will wake up to the news that she survived a heart attack and had a large amount of illegal drugs in her system. Sasha won’t remember any of that, but Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) will try to refresh her memory.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will also drop by and hope that Sasha was scared straight by what she went through. Sasha may confess that she doesn’t really remember, but perhaps seeing Brando will bring a few bits and pieces back.
By the end of this chat, Sasha may realize Brando saved her life. Brando will be there for Sasha, who should be grateful for everything he’s done for her. Over in Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) room, she’ll remain in a coma.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will receive updates from Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and ask about their treatment options.
Laura will explain Lucas Jones’ (Matt Trudeau) admission that Lulu’s recovery will be lengthy – and there are no guarantees she’ll ever wake up. Dante will lash out at Laura and may think they just need a specialist or something along those lines.
Laura will have to nudge Dante toward acceptance and prepare him for Lulu’s transfer to a long-term facility.
