General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, September 28 – Dante’s Wild Assignment Details - Nina Reacts to Nelle’s Death – Martin Mugged

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, September 28, tease that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will battle some worries. During a conversation with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Portia will insist that “she” shouldn’t be asking questions. Since inquisitive Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) is in town, Portia may think Curtis needs to control his auntie.

That’s especially true if Stella decides to go mouthing off to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), which could easily happen since this is Stella we’re talking about! As for Cyrus, he’ll have an intriguing meeting on Monday. “You have something that I want,” a grinning Cyrus says in the latest General Hospital preview video.

At GH, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will stagger in looking roughed up. He’ll announce that he’s just been mugged, so who did it and why? Julian Jerome (William deVry) would obviously have no problem doing that, so this might be how he chooses to handle the sealed envelope situation.

Then again, we do have Cyrus telling someone he wants something in the preview clip. If Cyrus doesn’t get whatever that something is, his goon could take it by force. Cyrus has his hands in plenty of pots, so it’s possible Martin will get caught up in some Cyrus drama.

Regardless, Martin will get mugged and stumble his way into GH for treatment. As for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll catch up with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) following his violent encounter with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) walked out just in time to witness Ned punch Valentin, but it doesn’t look like Chase will make an arrest.

Chase may cut Ned some slack since he knows Ned’s life has been difficult lately. Whatever the case, Ned will remain a free man as he joins Alexis at the bar.

Alexis just ordered up a double vodka thanks to all the rotten things Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) brother said to her. Alexis was banned from the memorial, so she’s feeling pretty low right about now.

General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will be tempted to drink away her problems, but will she do it? Ned’s already been drinking, but he’ll down another glass on Monday. “To good times past,” Ned says as he clinks his glass against the one Alexis is holding.

Alexis’ glass doesn’t seem like one that vodka would traditionally be poured in, so she may end up switching to water. There’s also Ned to consider. Would Ned let Alexis fall off the wagon right in front of him? Ned’s a bit drunk himself, so he may not be in a position to help Alexis make good choices.

Whether Alexis messes up her sobriety again or not, she’ll reflect on some old memories. Ned and Alexis used to be a couple, so that’ll give them a distraction from the problem they’re both facing.

Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will make a suggestion that’s sure to leave Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) uncomfortable.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also be on hand as Joss prepares for homecoming and brings Nelle up. “We should tell Dad and Nina about Nelle,” Josslyn says in Monday’s preview video.

Of course, Jax already knows Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) is dead – or at least he presumed no one could’ve survived that cliff fall. Even so, Nelle’s body has been found and that raises the stakes.

Carly should give Jax and Nina updates, so it’ll be interesting to see how Nina reacts. We may see Nina get emotional and wish Nelle had been capable of change. Nina truly wanted to help Nelle, but she just didn’t think it was possible in the end. Perhaps the news of Nelle’s death will make Nina wish she’d tried harder.

Then again, Nina’s reaction might be more in line with some of the others we’ve heard. A life is a life, so this is tragic – yet it’s also a huge relief and a positive thing for so many people in Port Charles.

If Nina admits part of her is glad Nelle’s gone, that could set up major guilt when the bio daughter truth eventually comes out!

Next, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will have a tense run-in with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). “Miss me?” Robert says with a smug smile on Monday’s preview clip. Peter will glare back and undoubtedly wish Robert’s stay in Monte Carlo had been a longer one.

Over with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll surprise Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) when she admits she went to Geneva to see Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Lulu will wonder what happened, but the answer is not much.

Olivia will have to reveal that Dante wouldn’t even talk to her through a closed door – which is wild considering Dante’s already changed his tune and wants to return home!

At his WSB treatment facility, Dante will continue to examine the special op info he was given. When he talks to Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) or perhaps someone else in charge, Dante will ask if this is a joke.

General Hospital spoilers state that Dante will have some issues with this wild assignment, so we’ll see what he has to say about it soon enough! CDL will have tons of other great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news for you, so be sure to make us your go-to source.
