General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) has launched the second-worst plan possible. The worst would certainly be letting Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) step up to help with “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson), but choosing Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) isn’t much better.
Brad could’ve easily insisted that although he was grateful for Michael’s offer, he would do his research and find a suitable nanny. Considering Michael doesn’t know “Wiley” is actually Jonah Corinthos, his biological child, he’s become far too hands-on anyway.
Michael’s borderline obsessed with his godson, which makes sense due to what fans know but is still weird since Michael and most others aren’t in the loop.
Instead of just picking some perfectly qualified nanny candidate, Brad panicked and pushed for Willow to pitch in. Even as a temporary solution, it’s a terrible one! Brad doesn’t need anyone duped by this baby swap involved here at all. Pulling someone deeper into this is just begging to get caught.
Like GH viewers, Julian Jerome (William deVry) can definitely see the potential for disaster. However, Brad was adamant that he couldn’t let Michael be his primary helper. It’s just strange that Brad made the leap right from Michael to Willow!
Willow’s always been drawn to “Wiley” as the boy she thinks she gave birth to. She’s only going to bond with “Wiley” even more while caring for him. Willow’s motherly instincts will grow stronger, so this will set her up for the worst heartbreak imaginable.
When the truth finally blows up, Willow will be even more devastated than she would’ve otherwise. In the meantime, this is still sort of cruel. Since Willow doesn’t know the real Wiley is dead, she’ll be connecting and longing for her “son.”
Now that Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) out of the picture, Willow will be wishing “Wiley” was hers to raise and keep. Serving as “Wiley’s” nanny will really drive home that point.
On top of that, Brad will be on edge over this arrangement despite suggesting it. That’s especially true since Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) on the verge of walking free.
Once Nelle’s out and roaming around Port Charles, Brad will be in total panic mode – and Willow will be close enough to really notice. General Hospital spoilers say Willow will worry about “Wiley’s” safety due to Nelle.
Brad’s put a target on Willow’s back here, so there could be big trouble if Nelle goes after the woman who’s caring for HER child! As Brad nerves intensify and lead to wild behavior, Willow will wonder what in the heck’s going on.
Has Brad shot himself in the foot here, especially with Nelle’s pending release from Pentonville? Willow could easily start putting clues together and determine something isn’t right. It might be fitting if Willow – the fake birth mom and close friend of Michael – is the one to finally deliver the truth to him.
Whatever the case, Brad’s secret is a ticking time bomb and he just sped up the process of it exploding. General Hospital spoilers say some hot drama’s brewing, so stay tuned.
