General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) revealed a major shocker to viewers before her exit from GH. Following a friendly goodbye to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Brook Lynn revealed a pregnancy test in her handbag.
That obviously suggests Brook Lynn may be pregnant with Valentin’s child. Now Brook Lynn is off mulling things over in Bensonhurst, where she’ll apparently deal with the situation one way or another.
If Brook Lynn really is pregnant, she’ll most likely have the baby since it’d make for some excellent soapy drama. Can you imagine Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) reaction if he finds out Brook Lynn is expecting Valentin’s kid?!
It’d be an understatement to say that Ned hates Valentin, and the thought of being a grandparent to Valentin’s baby would be infuriating. Ned would probably bluster about in a very Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) way, which is something he’s been trying to avoid.
In fact, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) has been coaching Ned to be less like Edward, but something tells us a BLQ-Valentin pregnancy would only make matters worse!
There’s no telling what’s going to come out of Ned’s mouth when he hears that Brook Lynn is carrying Valentin’s baby – if that indeed turns out to be the case.
Ned could end up doing real damage to his relationship with Brook Lynn over all this. The horrible thing is that Ned and Brook Lynn just got back on good terms before she left.
Brook Lynn left Port Charles knowing that the next time she sees Ned, he’ll probably be VERY upset with her. Brook Lynn could easily return to town visibly pregnant, which would force her to tackle all kinds of questions.
Not only will Brook Lynn face the uncomfortable task of talking to Valentin and deciding whether she’ll tell him the truth, she’ll have to address the situation with Ned.
Of course, Ned will probably put two and two together and realize who the father of the baby is, even if Brook Lynn tries to keep that part under wraps at first. Will Ned totally reject Brook Lynn all over again?
General Hospital spoilers say Ned and Brook Lynn’s rift might be right back to square one – or even worse than it was before. We can just hear Ned ranting about how Brook Lynn was irresponsible when she slept with Valentin and riling up Brook Lynn in the process.
Poor Monica may find herself playing referee once again.
