General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) love life may become a bit of a mess again. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) doesn’t trust Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) or believe she’s capable of real change. That’s only a minor issue at the moment since Nelle is currently only Nina’s employee – at least as far as either of them know.
Of course, GH fans know a whole lot more! We’re in the loop on the show’s big secret, which is that Nelle is Nina’s biological daughter. That’s bound to spell trouble between Jax and Nina down the road.
Jax is the one who bought Nelle’s kidney from Frank Benson, so that’s already a big problem. Nina didn’t hold that against Jax before, but she might once she knows Nelle is her long-lost child.
There’s also the matter of Jax’s negative view. Jax should be even more protective of Nina once he realizes Nelle is her flesh and blood. Since Jax knows how much Nina wants her daughter in her life, he’ll expect Nelle to take advantage of that.
Jax won’t want Nelle preying on Nina’s vulnerability, but Nina will probably be frustrating that Jax is assuming the worst and not giving Nelle a chance.
All of this could easily lead to the destruction of Nina and Jax’s romance, so we should go ahead and start thinking about who Nina might be paired with next.
Nelle would likely be pleased to see Nina and Jax break up, but she probably wouldn’t want Nina back with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) either. Valentin and Nelle are on each other’s bad side these days.
Once Valentin gets updates on Nelle and Nina’s biological connection, General Hospital spoilers suggest he’ll be wary as well. That could put Valentin at odds with Nina, which would suit Nelle just fine.
Nelle might poison Nina against both Jax and Valentin with selfish intentions. Things will go more smoothly for Nelle if she can convince Nina to date someone who isn’t so hung up on Nelle’s terrible history.
It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea for Nina to consider a new man entirely. Would you like to see Nina move on from both Jax and Valentin? Although Nina may end up reuniting with Valentin eventually,
Nelle could easily remind Nina that there are plenty of fish in the sea. She may try to convince her newfound mom that Nina deserves better.
