General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some startling developments are ahead in several major storylines. During the week of December 28-January 1, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will withhold info from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in the investigation of Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) death.
Carly won’t share as much as she knows – just to make sure Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) stays protected.
Later, Carly will get another unexpected visitor, and it looks like that’ll lead to Carly forming a new plan. Although part of Carly will fear the worst, she’ll continue to hope for the best when it comes to Sonny’s fate.
As for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll get Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) word that she wasn’t the reason Julian died. Britt will officially join Jason’s fight to take Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) down, but this alliance will come with some issues.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will have some issues of his own in the week ahead. Look for Brando’s loyalty to be tested, so Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) might get dragged into danger again.
Meanwhile, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will spot Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) at a fundraising event. They’ll be there to raise money for a good cause, but this charity gathering may also allow Chase and Willow to bond.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will get honest with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney). Once Jackie’s back in town, Anna will admit she knows the truth about Jackie and Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) night together all those years ago.
Will Anna also wonder if Jackie gave Finn the real story about Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) being Chase’s father? There’s a chance Chase is actually Finn’s son, so Anna may question if Jackie was protecting everyone involved.
Next, Finn will continue to battle guilt over that hookup and how he treated his dad in the aftermath. Gregory thought Finn hated him, but it was Finn’s own remorse keeping him away.
Although Finn can’t change the past, he’ll hope he can change Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) future. GH spoilers say Finn will express his worries when it comes to Alexis’ drinking problem.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will try to help Alexis as well, but you can bet Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will throw a fit. We should point out that a repeat episode will air on Thursday, December 31, along with a scheduled preemption on Friday, January 1.
During the week of January 4-8, Alexis will get into an argument with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Perhaps Alexis will trash Julian’s memory and face Ava’s fury as a result. Ava had her issues with Julian, but she certainly loved her brother and won’t want Alexis speaking ill of the dead!
Over with Cyrus, he’ll have a fierce faceoff with Jason. Since Jason’s boss should still be missing, Cyrus may take the opportunity to taunt Jason about Sonny’s disappearance. Jason will pay Sam a visit soon after, so he should offer updates and help her make sure the kids stay protected.
As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll give Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) some guidance that leaves him taken aback.
We’ll also see Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) corner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and once again rip into her for keeping Marcus Taggert’s (Asante Jones) survival under wraps.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will want to find out more about Marin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and his complex relationship with Cyrus. Laura will dig deeper into the family’s issues and hope she can score the upper hand.
Across town, Tracy will almost blow up Ned and Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) secret. Perhaps Tracy will blurt something out without realizing Olivia’s within earshot.
As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll eventually be brought in the loop on Sonny’s vanishing act. The longer Sonny’s gone, the more worried his loved ones will become.
Sasha will console Michael as he frets, so that’ll give Sasha a shot at reconnecting with him. Back with Jordan, she’ll insist she’s done playing Cyrus’ games. As far as Jordan’s concerned, her days of helping Cyrus are over!
Cyrus may warn Jordan to think twice about that, but it sounds like Jordan’s mind will be made up.
Over with Anna again, she’ll find out about Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) working with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and become quite wary.
Finally, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will lash out at Sam during a tense conversation. Sam should be unnerved by Peter’s demeanor, so we’ll see if that influences any of her upcoming moves.
