General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) may form a dangerous plan soon. GH fans know Ava once lured Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstom) into a trap with the intention of killing him, but she wasn’t able to finish him off. Perhaps Ava will decide she has to do a better job of that this time around!
As Ava pointed out, Ryan isn’t random. Ava knew Ryan must be sitting on something big or else he wouldn’t have called her. Of course, General Hospital viewers will recall that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) sent an incriminating letter to Ryan, which reveals Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) criminal behavior.
If Ryan unleashes that letter, the best possible outcome is for Julian to land behind bars. The worst possible is outcome that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will kill Julian for helping Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) keep his grandson away from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for so long.
Neither option is an appealing one, so Ava will have to carry out Ryan’s wishes or feed Julian to the wolves. During the week of October 12-16, Julian will be sweating it out and begging for updates.
He’ll eventually get reassurance from Ava, so it sounds like she’ll fill her brother in on Ryan’s demands and promise that they’ll sort this out.
Since Ryan won’t be satisfied until he gets help making a Pentonville getaway, what’s Ava going to do? Ava may have to make a deal with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), who recently admitted their fortune battle was childish and petty anyway.
Lives will be at stake soon enough, so Ava may not really care about the Cassadine estate any longer.
However, this will be bigger than just saving Julian if Ryan’s let back out into the world. Nikolas has the ability to call in some favors and help Ryan escape, but what then? Ryan is a serial killer! Ava and Nikolas can’t just let Ryan roam around claiming more victims and terrorizing Port Charles all over again.
It’s clear that Ava will never have peace until Ryan is dead, so she may hope to end her worst nightmare once and for all. There are many ways a plot like that could go wrong, so will Nikolas end up swooping in and saving Ava’s life?
GH might’ve offered a hint about that when they had Nikolas rant about how Ryan was sick and evil. Although Nikolas acknowledged his own mistakes and expressed regret, he doesn’t think he’s anything like demented Ryan – and he’s right. Ryan is in a league of his own!
Ava will be in extreme danger soon, but maybe Nikolas will make Ryan’s escape happen to save Julian and then kill Ryan before he can strike again. This would be a good opportunity to have Nikolas rescue Ava and declare his love.
It could mark a real turning point and leave them in agreement on putting this fortune feud behind them.
