General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will face devastation once she realizes Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) is her daughter – and that her daughter might already be dead! Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) doesn’t believe that Nelle could’ve survived a fall that terrible, so he feels confident Nelle’s gone for good.
However, Nina’s bound to want closure of some sort once the cliff story and cover-up come to light. It’ll bring a new sense of uncertainty to Nina, who’s been stuck wondering about her long-lost child for years. Although it would be hard for Nina to know for sure Nelle’s dead, at least it’d put an end to her questions.
Could Nina open up to Ava Cassadine (Maura West) about this and get a shocking suggestion? What if Ava pushes Nina to reach out to Nelle using a psychic? Ava used a couple of those to get in touch with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) – and it worked. Ava was able to speak with Kiki after Sibley Gamble (Veronica Cartwright) channeled her.
Of course, Ava was seeking closure in the form of forgiveness – and she definitely didn’t get that! Perhaps Ava would warn Nina that she might not like what Nelle has to say to her. Nevertheless, General Hospital spoilers hint that Nina should be pretty desperate for answers.
It’s easy to imagine Ava telling the story of how Sibley could feel Kiki’s presence but not Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma). GH fans now know that’s because Nikolas is still alive, so Nina might hope a psychic could help her figure out if Nelle’s dead or still out there somewhere.
Even if Nelle chewed Nina out at this séance, Nina could put her doubts about Nelle’s death to rest.
Nina might even hope she’d have better luck apologizing to Nelle about not being there as a mother. It’s safe to say Nina will be sorry she bailed on giving Nelle another chance. Nina might convince herself that’s all Nelle needed!
Since Nelle is most likely still alive, could Nina’s psychic help her realize that? If Nelle’s presence can’t be felt on the other side, Nina might have hope that Nelle will return – just like Nikolas did. This could fire Nina up about finding Nelle and giving her another chance after all.
